- Room-by-room routines — pick your rooms (two bedrooms? add both) and elbow builds a cleaning rhythm for each one, quietly resurfacing tasks the moment they're due. Rename rooms and tasks to match how you live.
- Seasonal and safety jobs — gutters in autumn, smoke alarm tests every month, the boiler service before winter. Home Safety and Home Upkeep keep the easy-to-forget jobs on track.
- Appliance care, step by step — descale the kettle, clean the washing machine, clear the extractor filter, with clear steps and a "last cleaned" note so nothing slips for months.
- Stain rescue guides — quick, practical methods for spills and marks, without a frantic web search.
- See your home at a glance — a dashboard shows what's due today or across the week, plus each room's health.
- Gentle reminders — an optional morning nudge on days something is due.
- Badges and titles — earn them for the cleaning you actually do, and share the ones you're proud of.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
elbow has no accounts, no analytics, and no trackers. Your rooms, tasks, and cleaning history live only on your device and in your own iCloud — we can't see any of it, and we never sell or share your data.

- Share your home with one other person — you both see the same rooms and tasks.
- Your cleaning year in Plan — choose which seasons tasks appear in and how often appliances get cleaned.
- Vacation mode — pause everything while you're away, then ease back in gently.
- Home screen widgets — see what's due without opening the app.
- Stats and insights — your full history, room breakdowns and heatmaps.
- Unlimited custom tasks.
elbow Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription (the yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.

elbow 1.1 is the biggest update since launch.
- Today and Next 7 days are now tabs, grouped by room.
- Your rooms, your way: add more than one of a kind (Bedroom 2, Bedroom 3), rename any room, hide the ones you don't use, and tell elbow when each was last cleaned.
- Edit rooms and appliances in one place: add, rename, reorder and remove tasks, and drag them between daily, weekly and monthly.
- Seasonal tasks now show up in their season, in a "This season" group.
- Badges and titles: 24 to earn, all free, with a card to share when you unlock one.
- Optional morning reminders on days something is due. They stay on your phone.
- Home Safety has been reworked, with monthly smoke and CO alarm tests, and there's a new Home Upkeep room.
- New stain guide: pet sick.
- Pro: your widget now keeps itself up to date.
- Push has gone. Swipe left to skip a task instead. Anything you already pushed still comes back on its date.
- Streaks have gone too. elbow now counts the weeks you clean, so missing a Sunday doesn't wipe anything out.
