Version 2.0.0 brings the iPhone and Android apps level with the web, and adds what front desks asked for. Refunds • Give money back from a folio with Refund. The payment you took stays on the record; the refund leaves the drawer you choose and shows in Expenses, Cash, Reports and Day close. • A refund comes off the room charge by itself, so the folio still balances. Tick "Cancel the stay" only if the guest is leaving now: the booking is cancelled and the room is freed. Support • The Support icon sits beside the bell. My requests shows what was sent to Anyname Hotel support and what we answered. Open a request to read it and reply. • A red dot on the icon, a line under the bell and a notification tell you when support replies. Payments • A folio's payments have one row of actions: add, edit, remove and refund. • The owner or a manager can correct a payment on a stay that has checked out. Bookings • One room, one checked-in stay. Checking a second booking into an occupied room is refused, and the app names the guest who is in it. • A guest who stays past the departure date keeps the room until you check them out. • Checked a guest out by mistake? Open the stay from Guests and press Undo checkout. Reports • Each view in Reports has its own Export: PDF, Excel or a ZIP of CSV files. The PDF and the Excel workbook carry the charts as you see them on screen. • The link in the morning or month report email opens the app on the day or the month the email is about. Everything the web has, on your phone • Print a folio, open a guest's profile and past visits, read Collections for any dates, and set up rooms and room types, a whole floor at once. • Housekeeping lists Clean requests from occupied rooms. One press of Cleaned answers every request for that room. • The Day close card on the Dashboard counts the same day as the Day close page it opens. Roles • Only the owner creates logins, resets a colleague's password, answers an account deletion request, changes the KBS password and requests the full data export. • A housekeeper sees no money figures in the log or in push notifications. KBS • A departure is filed for each person on the stay. Languages • Terms and Privacy are written in all seven languages and open in the app's language. • Morning and month report emails arrive in each reader's language.
