Qopa: Couples Budget Tracker
Private shared money for two
Only for iPhone
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
Money for two, kept private: shared and personal side by side, who put in what at a glance. Your bank statement is read for you.
Qopa is an app for a couple's shared finances. Shared money and personal money sit side by side, every movement knows whose it is, and the totals add themselves up.
A shared budget breaks down over bookkeeping, not over money: one pays by card, the other in cash, and part of the spending is shared. A month later nobody remembers who put in what, or why there is less in the account than it felt like. Qopa keeps that record for you.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• Shared money and personal money in one place
• See who put in what
• Any currencies, with your own rates
• Monobank import for spending
• A plan and a twelve-month forecast
• Cash, banks, crypto, investments, debts
PRIVACY
The key is derived from your password on the device, the data is encrypted there too, and only ciphertext ever reaches the server. The developer cannot read your accounts or your amounts. No ads, no data selling.
WHO IT'S FOR
For a couple who keep a shared budget and still have money of their own. And for one person who wants an honest record without the cloud and without ads.

more • Anything overdue shows at once: a payment or an arrival that was due and did not happen stands in red on the record's card.
• The card of a debt, an income, an investment or a planned expense now holds up to five dates ahead and up to five entries behind, with totals. Tap any line to open that record's full list.
• A limit opens up: tap it to see the spending the bar is made of, and go on to the history of that category alone.
• A partner's notification leads exactly to what arrived.
And of course we fixed a few more small things found along the way.

• Income now has a rhythm: monthly, quarterly, yearly or one-off. A once-a-year bonus is no longer smeared across twelve months of the forecast.
• «Total capital» opens up: tap an account to go to Accounts, tap a debt or an investment to land on the record itself in Plan.
• The card of a debt, an income, an investment or a planned expense now shows both sides: what the rhythm has coming and what has already happened, with totals. Anything that was due and did not arrive is marked in red. One tap opens the full list of that record's entries.
• Transaction history now shows the day's total and the total of everything currently listed.
And of course we fixed a few more small things found along the way.

• Recurring payments now know when this one is already paid: the next date moves on as soon as you pay, and a missed month shows up.
• When a debt is repaid, an investment returns or a one-off expense is paid, Qopa offers to archive it.
• A debt owed to you with no due date now reminds you about itself once a month.
• A gift year of Qopa can now be activated right inside the app.
And of course we fixed a few more small things found along the way.
1.12.7 Sep 11
• A planned expense can now be paid straight from its card.
• Accounts in cards carry their currency — no more mixing up similar ones.
• «Who paid» is asked only about shared money: from your own card, it is only ever you.
• When something arrives from your partner, the screen scrolls to that very entry and highlights it.
And of course we fixed a few more small things found along the way.
1.12.6 Sep 8
• Leaving a shared safe no longer needs a subscription — only inviting and joining do.
• Two of your own devices no longer overwrite each other's work: the copies are merged, and the later change wins.
• A new phone picks up the shared safe straight away, without replaying your whole history together.
And of course we fixed a few more small things found along the way.
1.12.5 Sep 7
• When you both edit the same record, the later change now wins — a correction can no longer be undone by an older copy from the other phone. And changes reach the shared log in the order you made them.
And of course we fixed a few more small things found along the way.
1.12.4 Sep 5
• Your partner sees movements on a shared account from the moment you opened access, not the card's whole history. Instead of the hidden part they get the balance as it stood, so your totals match to the penny.
• When a shared safe closes, the app explains exactly what happened: the shared accounts become your own personal ones and nothing is lost. The next shared safe is a new one.
• An invite now shows as «Waiting for partner» — and can be called off.
• A new safe starts with a «Cash» account, so the first movement takes no preparation.
• Debts, investments and plans with no account named are personal.
• The account screen on one page: sign-in state, when it last synced, and restoring from the cloud with the copy's date.
And of course we fixed a few more small things found along the way.
1.12.2 Sep 4
• Categories got a new face: clean colour icons instead of emoji. The same set now lives in the category form, so your own categories can pick an icon too.
• The Plan got tidied as well: shared and personal marked with colour, sorting by date or amount either way, and each half grouped into cards — like Accounts.
• On the rates screen, cash and crypto now sit in rows of their own. You can also choose the display currency: hryvnia, dollar or euro.
• Settings, rebuilt: the subscription on top, everything about the account in one place, and «Erase everything» no longer needs hunting for. A new «Home screen» section picks what Home shows: goals, upcoming payments, contributions, entries or rates.
• Monobank statements no longer duplicate, and old duplicates clean themselves up. The app now always asks before deleting a record.
And of course we fixed a few more small things found along the way.
1.12.0 Sep 3
Notifications now lead somewhere. Tap a «your partner recorded something» push and the app opens Сейф, scrolls to the entries and pulses exactly the new ones. The reconcile reminder opens Accounts with the list of what to check, the morning rate push opens the rates chart, the evening digest opens the home screen.
One rate for both of you: НБУ rates refresh in the background on both phones, so shared totals no longer drift apart because one of you skipped opening the app for a day.
The payout reminder now states the whole arriving sum: “+\$4,400 (principal \$4,000 + \$400)” — not just the interest.
Fixed the small things we found along the way.
1.11.0 Sep 2
Evening digest. Every night at 21:00, one short notification: what the day cost, the tightest limit, and how far the nearest goal is. Computed right on your phone from your decrypted data — the server never sees these numbers and never can.
Fresh numbers without opening the app: a few times a day it quietly pulls the Monobank statement and your partner's changes in the background. Open it, and everything is already in place.
Sync no longer gets lost after an app update. And if sign-in does break, the home screen says so out loud instead of keeping quiet.
Fixed the small things we found along the way.
1.10.0 Aug 30
Goals. The money for a holiday or a safety cushion is probably already sitting somewhere — in Monobank jars, in a cash envelope. A goal gathers those places into one bar: “gathered / needed”, and no number is ever typed in — jars arrive by themselves, name and target included.
An envelope is a real account: topped up by transfer, and the goal shows who put in what, and when.
For a couple the goal is shared: her jar + his jar + the envelope make one bar, coloured by person.
With a date set, a mark on the bar shows where the money should be by today — and how much to put aside monthly to make it.
Goals live in Plan, next to expenses and limits.
Fixed the small things we found along the way.
1.9.0 Aug 27
The app now fits the way you keep money. At first setup — or any time in «More → Modules» — choose solo or the two of you, and which sections you actually need.
Plans, limits, debts, investments, several currencies, Monobank import — turn on only what you use. What's off hides from the tabs and the home screen, and the data stays: change your mind and one switch brings it back.
Solo mode drops everything about «two»: no shared tabs, no «who put in what» — just a personal budget.
Fixed the small things we found along the way.
1.8.0 Aug 22
Category limits. Set a ceiling on groceries or dining out, and the bar shows how much of it has gone. The mark on the bar is how much should have gone by today: if the bar is past it, you are spending faster than the month is passing.
A limit is not a plan: it adds nothing to the forecast and counts only what has actually been spent.
At the foot of the tab, the totals: how much of all your ceilings has gone, and how much is still free.
A ceiling can cover shared spending, personal spending, or both together.
The expense list now has a row of categories: one tap and only dining out is left on screen.
Fixed the small things we found along the way.
1.7.0 Aug 21
«What is coming for me?» — the main screen answers that now. An «Ahead» block shows the three nearest dates with a countdown: «doctor», «loan», «wedding anniversary». All of it was already written down; it just lived on three different tabs.
A planned expense can now repeat every three months or once a year — insurance, an annual subscription, an anniversary. Until now each occurrence had to be entered as a separate one-off.
Holidays and birthdays get a list of their own: plan them a year ahead so that none of them catches you out.
A new one is picked from a list: birthday, anniversary, Christmas, New Year, name day. The name and the date fill themselves in.
How often an expense repeats now shows in the row itself — «↻ monthly» — next to a coloured dot for whose account it comes from.
Beside the balance there is a «today» ring: what the day has cost so far, and how that compares with an ordinary day this month.
Fixed the small things we found along the way.
1.6.0 Aug 18
Want a look before you invent a password? The first screen now offers «Try it with demo data»: an invented safe that lives in memory and leaves with the app.
Wondering what we can see? There is a step for that now: your bank token, your figures, our server — and why none of it reads without your password.
A forecast no longer pretends to be a fact: figures that came from the plan wear «≈».
A transfer is not spending. Now it says so: a move between your own accounts.
Where did this row come from? «auto» — the statement wrote it; «on this phone» — your phone worked it out.
Forgot the password and never made a phrase? The safe can now be erased and started over right from the unlock screen.
1.5.1 Aug 17
Exchange rates now come with an arrow: which way they went, and by how much. And yes, bitcoin and ether have arrived — the safe learned to look past the hryvnia.
A new «Rates» report: a daily chart, with a currency and a period to pick. The history only started accruing now, so it is short — that is its age, not a fault.
An investment card finally leads with what matters: what it earns over its term, and at what rate. The account, the scope and the dates moved under «Details» so the numbers stop drowning.
A new investment assumes the principal comes back: a deposit, a loan at interest, a bond — that is the usual case.
Notifications that arrived while the app was closed no longer go missing from the log. And the number on the icon finally clears when you open the app, instead of piling up for weeks.
Tapping a debt reminder takes you to that debt, with the row flashed so you need not hunt for it.
Re-filing a bank entry as a transfer no longer muddles the currency: you pick the account from the usual list, and if the currencies differ we ask for the figure the bank never sent.
Your figures hide the moment the app leaves the screen — a frame earlier this time, so nothing flashes into view.
1.4 Aug 15
The safe now reads bank statements. Yes, those .csv files your bank hands over with a shrug.
Import a statement from the account screen or from «+». We show you everything we read first, and mark what is already recorded: the same coffee twice has never made anyone happier.
While you are there, you can set the account balance to the one the statement closes on — the bank knows better.
Planned expenses and income got a term: from one month to another. Rent runs forever, a language course does not.
If a planned expense has a start date, we remind you on that day each month. At 9:00, without insisting.
A transfer between accounts no longer offers another currency first — same money to same money, as you intended.
We also fixed the small bugs we found along the way.
1.3 Aug 10
Yesterday we missed these little things — today they are fixed. So that you are comfortable.
An investment is described the way it works: a start date, a rhythm and a number of payouts — the end date follows, and the card lists every payout date.
All three reports got a fresh look, and months now turn with a swipe.
Forms and the way information is shown have been updated.
Bugs fixed — the ones we managed to catch.
1.2 Aug 9
Syncing with a partner no longer loses movements.
Your figures are hidden the moment the app leaves the screen, including on the app-switcher card.
Investments now have a term: what is still to come, and when the principal returns.
Cash flow and profit are separate reports now, and tapping a month shows what its figure is made of.
Dates everywhere in dd.mm.yyyy.
1.1 Aug 8
Bug fixes, and a better flow for keeping account balances up to date.
1.0.2 Aug 7
— Capital lists shared accounts first, the same order as Accounts.
— New view toggle: by group (bank/name) or by currency. Two icons — a wallet and an exchange.
— The shared/personal badge now appears only in the All tab.
— Auto-lock is a setting: instantly, 1, 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes in the background.
