Unscribble Handwriting to Text
Cursive OCR, Image & Note Scan
Only for iPhone
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
iPhone
Reads messy handwriting other apps can't. Unlimited free on-device scans, export always free, and your notes never leave your iPhone.
Unscribble turns handwriting into editable text, even the messy kind other apps give up on.
Point your camera at any handwritten page: notes, journals, letters, whiteboards, recipes. Unscribble converts it to clean, editable text in seconds, entirely on your iPhone, free, with no scan limits.
WHY UNSCRIBBLE
• Reads messy handwriting: AI mode deciphers cursive, old letters, and scrawl that standard OCR can't
• Unlimited free scanning: on-device recognition never hits a paywall
• Export is always free: copy, share, or save as PDF without paying. Ever.
• Private by design: free scans never leave your iPhone; AI pages are processed privately and never stored
BUILT FOR FIXING, NOT JUST SCANNING
• Tap any line to see exactly where it sits on the original page
• Low-confidence words are flagged, so you only proofread what needs it
• "Did you mean…" alternatives are one tap away
• Clean-up tools: fix spacing, join lines into paragraphs, on-device smart polish
• Turn a handwritten list into a tappable checklist
WHO IT'S FOR
Students digitizing lecture notes · writers transcribing notebooks · families preserving old letters · anyone with a journal, planner, or box of notes to bring into the digital world.
FREE VS PRO
Free: unlimited on-device scanning, editing, and export, plus free AI pages to try.
Pro unlocks unlimited AI mode for cursive and messy writing: $3.99/month, $19.99/year with a 7-day free trial, or $49.99 once for lifetime access.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. Lifetime access is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
PRIVACY
No account, no sign-up. Free scans are processed entirely on your device. AI pages are sent securely for transcription only and never stored. We couldn't read your notes if we wanted to.
