Tap a quote to go to that quote. • Tapping the widget or the Quote of the Day card opens the book and scrolls to that quote, highlighting it briefly. • In the reading calendar, tapping a day's entry opens that book. • Adding a book directly as Finished logs its full length on the finish date, so it counts in the reading calendar and statistics. • When importing a Sanchaek backup, you are told how many untitled books were skipped. • On iOS 26 and macOS 26, the Quote of the Day card and the finish celebration use the glass look, and the library toolbar is split into view and add groups.

Easier to pick up the books you already own. • New "Unread" shelf in the sidebar for books you own but haven't started. The "None" reading status is now called "Unread". • Set a "Start reading on" date for books you plan to read. It shows on the shelf as "From Sep 28", and the To read shelf can sort by planned start. Daily targets and reminders begin on that day. • Fixed a crash when adding a book on iOS 17 devices.

The book you're reading comes first. • The app now opens to your "Reading" shelf. The full library is one tap away in the sidebar. • Marking a book finished records the remaining pages on the finish date. Change the date later and the record follows. • Book search now uses Kakao and the National Library of Korea. Search results show where each book came from. • Adding several books by barcode now fills in page counts, so progress % and today's share work right away.

BookDrawer gets wider in 2.0. Alongside what you read, it now keeps track of where each book is. Reading history Read a book more than once and each pass is kept on its own — its dates, its rating, its notes. Finished lists and the calendar show them separately too. Read again Start a new pass from a finished book. The earlier passes stay as they are. Your shelf Mark each book as owned, to buy, or departed (gifted, sold, or lost). Gifts remember who you gave them to, and if you hold two copies, each is tracked on its own. Want to buy Keep the books you mean to buy in their own list, and move one into the library with a single tap once you have it. Your existing records carry over. The first launch runs a one-time tidy-up, and a backup is made automatically just before it starts.

• Fixed work titles disappearing from book descriptions. Titles wrapped in angle brackets — a common Korean convention — were being erased along with the HTML. • Links inside a book description are now tappable. • Tidied the sync notice in Settings. It stays quiet while syncing works and speaks up only when you are not signed in to iCloud — and you can turn that off for good.

• Add several books by barcode — the camera stays open so you can sweep a shelf. Everything lands in "Want to read"; set the dates later, book by book. • Covers are resized as they are saved, which trims iCloud storage and keeps syncing steady. • Backups now carry your yearly reading goal. Restoring used to lose it. • A failed import leaves nothing behind, and the numbers you confirm always match what happens. • Books finished without a date now appear under "Date unknown" instead of vanishing from the archive.

Your reading, day by day. • Reading calendar — move your progress and it's recorded as that day's reading, automatically. See which books you read on which days, and how much. Pinch to zoom in. • Pages read, now in Stats — this month, this year, and the rhythm of the last 30 days. • Two new image cards: the month you read, and the days you spent with a book. • Finished-by-category can now be viewed year by year. • Fixed some text appearing in Korean on English devices.

• Quote of the day — a saved passage appears at the top of your library. There's a widget too, and you can choose how often it changes. • External link — attach a note or blog address to a book and open it with a tap. Works with note apps like Obsidian. • Today's reading now shows which page to read to. • Export menu renamed so it's easier to find: Markdown files and a book list CSV. • Fixed: the finish-by date was missing from backups.

• Today's reading — set a finish-by date and today's amount is worked out for you. Record your progress and see what's left right away. • No reminder on days you've already finished today's reading.

• Reading reminders — set a time alongside a book's finish-by date and be told how much to read today. • Confetti when you finish a book. • Notes now show in full in the passages list. • Fixing line joins from a photo no longer shifts the screen.

• Passages — see every passage you've saved in one place and search them by word. Results show just the part that matched; tap one to open its book. • Finish-by date — set a target date on a book you're reading or plan to read, and see how many pages a day it takes. • Yearly goal — set how many books to finish this year in Stats, and see the total you're on pace for. • Long notes are no longer cut off. • Book counts now appear in the sidebar. • App version is now shown in Settings.

Bring over everything you kept in Sanchaek. • Import a Sanchaek backup — books, covers, finish dates and reviews come with it. Anything you highlighted is picked out line by line and saved as a passage. An exported CSV works too. • Browse your library by category — pick a category next to the title to see only those books. • Track ebooks by percent — for books with no page count, enter a percentage or drag the slider. • Long reviews now fit on image cards — they carry over onto extra pages. • Save image cards straight to Photos, and return to where you were once you've shared. • Added Help — in Settings. • Text now uses the system font so it sits better alongside menus and buttons.

BookDrawer now speaks English. The whole app follows your device language — dates and month names included — and book search finds English-language titles. Also in this release: • Tap a line break in a captured quote to join or split the words • Smoother pinch-to-resize in the library • Better contrast in Settings when using a light color theme
