Account balances on your home screen Add the PlentyBook widget to see your balances without opening the app. Each account shows its own color, and a total appears when there is room for one. Transfers between your own accounts Moving money between two of your registers is now one action instead of two entries. Record it once and both accounts update — money out of one, money in to the other — and deleting either side removes both, so the two can never drift apart. Transfers are kept out of Money In and Money Out when you audit, because moving money between your own accounts isn't earning or spending it. A new Balance Change line shows what actually happened to the balance. PDF statements Export any account and period as a printable statement, with a running balance, opening and closing balances, and every entry laid out the way a bank statement reads. Included with the in-app-purchase unlock. A currency for each account Give each register its own currency label — dollars in one, pounds in another. Totals are then kept separate per currency and never added together. Switch it on in Settings, where you can also set the currency new accounts start with. PlentyBook labels amounts, it NEVER converts them. There are no exchange rates here, and choosing a currency changes the symbol beside your numbers and nothing else. Currency conversion would require continual network access and had the potential to leak a user's data off the device, which is counter to the claim this app holds to keep your data on your device except for when using your encrypted iCloud backup. Restoring a backup Restoring a file with more accounts than the free version keeps now asks which one you'd like, instead of quietly stopping. Your backup file isn't changed, so the rest are still there whenever you unlock. This doesn't apply to anyone who purchased the app legitimately but merely fixes a loophole that existed on the back end. A new look for the app icon, and a fix for backup reminders. • NEW ICON — the same three cards, restacked so the weight sits in the middle. • THE BACKUP REMINDER CAN NOW BE TURNED OFF FOR GOOD. Alongside "Later" there's now "Never Remind Me Again", and it means never. If you change your mind, there's a switch in Settings under Backup. • SETTINGS NOW SHOWS THE VERSION AND BUILD NUMBER, under About — handy if you ever need to tell us which version you're on. As always: no account, no ads, no subscription, and your register stays on your device.
