FocusBoss: App Blocker

Screen time & focus timer

$4.99 · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Focus on what matters: block distractions, choose work or study mode, and track progress with your own boss. No subscriptions or in-app purchases. FocusBoss blocks the apps that derail your workday - and puts a witty AI boss between you and every "just a quick break". Set your work hours. When you clock on, distracting apps lock. Want a break? Justify it to the boss. A real emergency walks straight through - but "just checking Instagram" when you're out of break tickets does not. WHY IT WORKS - Scheduled shifts: distractions block automatically during your work hours, every day. No willpower required. - The AI boss: every break is judged on device - witty, in your language, and impossible to sweet-talk once your tickets run out. - Break tickets and focus debt: a daily budget keeps you honest. Go over, and you owe the focus time back. - Strict mode: once your break tickets are spent, the shield holds until the shift ends - a real emergency is the only way through. - Punch clock: hold the block until you clock out - like badging out of a factory. - Your week, measured: hours in focus, a clean-shift streak, and exactly what distractions cost you. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Blocking runs on Apple Screen Time. Everything stays on your iPhone - no servers, no account, nothing ever leaves your device. All features are included. No subscriptions or in-app purchases.
