PhotoIDForge is a native macOS app built for people who want their ID photo done properly and privately: automatic face detection and cropping, one-tap background replacement, print-ready sheets, and a full manual-crop fallback for the photos automatic detection can't handle. Everything runs on-device using Apple's Vision framework — your photo never leaves your Mac unless you choose to export it.
WHY PHOTOIDFORGE
Most passport-photo tools today are phone apps repurposed for the Mac App Store — subscriptions, ads, and cloud uploads included. PhotoIDForge was designed the other way around: a genuinely native SwiftUI app that behaves like a Mac app should, with a real menu bar, real keyboard shortcuts, real printing, and no account required.
