Playhead: TV & Movie Tracker
Import your TV Time history
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
TV Time shut down on 15 July 2026 and took its website, its history and its export tool with it. If you downloaded your archive before it went, Playhead reads it — every show, every episode, every date you watched them.
Import is free. Export is free. Forever. Your history is yours, and an app that holds it hostage is the reason you needed this one.
TRACK WHAT YOU WATCH
Up Next puts the episode you actually reach for at the top of the screen, not buried in a list. Check an episode in with one tap. Rewatches count properly.
Your library sorts itself into what you're watching, what you've drifted from, what you haven't started, and what you're caught up on — so a hundred shows still reads as a shelf rather than a scroll.
Films get the same treatment, with their own tab.
KNOW WHAT'S COMING
The airing calendar shows every upcoming episode of every show you follow, in air-date order, with a reminder before it airs if you want one.
KNOW WHERE TO WATCH IT
Streaming availability for your region, powered by JustWatch through TMDB, right on the show.
YOUR DATA, YOUR DEVICE
No account. No sign-in. Nothing to join. Playhead has no server holding your library — it lives on your device, and syncs through your own iCloud if you want it to.
Before it reads your TV Time archive it shows you the complete list of files inside it: the six it will open, and the ones it never touches — including your password hash, your location tagged IP log and your advertising identifiers. You can decline at that point, and nothing is read.
Export everything, any time, in a format other apps can read.
PLAYHEAD PRO
A one-time purchase. No subscription.
• iCloud sync across your devices
• Home Screen widgets
• Custom lists
• Deeper statistics
• Alternate icons and themes
Everything else — tracking, the calendar, notifications, where to watch, statistics, and both import and export — is free, without limits and without item caps.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Importing a Playhead export now restores your episodes and artwork, not just your watch history — and shows progress while it works. Fixed the app icon picker only responding to taps on the name.
