Hesperix Card Retreat is a pair of hand-dealt patience games set in a sunny cheese meadow. There's no clock pressing you, nothing to chase and nobody to beat but yesterday's you — deal a hand, take as long as you like, and start again whenever the shuffle goes against you. Two very different games share the table: Cheddar Pouch, a single-pack classic with one generous twist, and Gouda Court, a two-pack game where eight queens hold court while sixteen piles fill up around them. Every card, button and frame is hand-placed, and the whole thing plays in landscape with one thumb. No accounts, no advertising, no purchases, and it works exactly the same with the network switched off.

- Records that follow you — win rate, best time, fewest moves, best score and a running win streak for each game
How to Play
Cheddar Pouch — Move all 52 cards to the four piles at the top, each climbing from ace to king in its own suit. On the table, build downward onto any suit except a card's own — a nine of hearts takes any eight but the eight of hearts. Empty columns accept any card, not just a king, and you may go through the stock as many times as you like. Gouda Court — Deal onto eight queens; sixes climb to jacks and fives fall through the ace to the king, ignoring suit entirely. Fives and sixes place themselves, and only the top card of each column is in play. Tap the stock to deal, tap any card to send it home, and tap Help if you get stuck.

Both games reward attention rather than speed, so a few minutes in a queue works as well as a long quiet evening. Cheddar Pouch is forgiving enough to finish most deals, while Gouda Court asks you to think a move ahead about what you're about to bury — two genuinely different kinds of thinking from one app. Nothing interrupts you: no advertising, no prompts, no purchases and no timer. Your history, statistics and settings live on your device and nowhere else, and deleting the app removes every trace of them.
