• Failure notifications - FileCarrier now alerts you when a scheduled transfer doesn't complete, so a broken backup never goes unnoticed. You can turn notifications on or off in Settings. • Safer downloads - files are written to a temporary .part file and renamed only after the transfer finishes, so an interrupted run can never leave a half-downloaded file looking complete. • Search and sorting - servers, tasks, SSH keys and logs are now sorted alphabetically, with a search field above every list to find what you need instantly. • Task counts in the server list - see at a glance how many transfer tasks each server has. • Cleaner task deletion - deleting a task now stops any transfer in progress, removes its downloaded files, and takes effect immediately. • Smarter menu bar popup - "Last backup" refreshes as soon as a run finishes, and "Needs attention" lists only problems that are still relevant. • Dock icon behaviour - the Dock icon now appears only while a window is open, keeping FileCarrier out of the way when it's running in the menu bar. • Filename templates fixed and improved - {DATE} and {TIME} now resolve correctly, placeholders are case-insensitive, compound extensions such as .tar.gz are preserved, path separators are stripped, and generated names are guaranteed unique within a folder. • Full localization - FileCarrier is now available in German, Spanish and French, in addition to English.
