Pillowbook: Bedtime Stories
Classic Fairy Tales for Kids
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Fairy tales you already know, drawn again for the child you read to now. A new one joins the shelf every week.
Cinderella. Snow White. Hansel and Gretel. The Three Little Pigs. Little Red Riding Hood. Each one runs ten full pages of original artwork, a single page to a screen. You read it out loud. They turn the page.
ONE STORY A NIGHT
Pillowbook gives you one story an evening and then stops. There is no feed to scroll, no next episode, no autoplay. Bedtime ends when the book closes.
WHAT IS INSIDE
- Classic tales, ten illustrated pages each
- A new tale joins the shelf every week
- Artwork drawn for this book, not stock images
- English, German, French, Spanish and Russian, switch whenever you like
- No ads. No sign-up before you can read.
- Tales stay on the phone once downloaded, so bad hotel wifi does not cancel bedtime
A STORY OF THEIR OWN
Tell Pillowbook your child's name and what is on their mind this week. A new school, a lost tooth, a little brother who arrived and will not leave. It writes them a tale for tonight in the same voice as the classics, and only one, same as every other night.
WHAT IT COSTS
Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears and Snow White are free and need no account. The collection is a single purchase and stays yours. Premium adds a new personal story every night.
Premium is $39.99 a year and renews until you cancel. Payment is charged to your Apple ID within 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancel any time from Settings, at least 24 hours before renewal.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Every tale has been repainted as a wide picture book: a painting for every scene, with the words on a card beside it. Turn the phone sideways to read, or use an iPad. Tales you buy download their pictures once and then stay on your device.
