Speak Shakespeare is an English pronunciation app for iPhone, with all 154 of Shakespeare's sonnets to practice reading aloud. First, listen to a line. Then read it aloud yourself. The app listens to your voice and marks each word as correct, almost correct, or incorrect. Play back your recording and compare it with the reference reading.
HOW CAN I CHECK IF MY PRONUNCIATION IS CORRECT?
The app uses AI speech recognition to check your pronunciation word by word and show you which words to try again. A line is complete when the app marks every word as correct. You can also listen to your recording and the reference reading to hear the difference for yourself.
SHADOWING WITH SHAKESPEARE
Shadowing means listening to a voice and repeating after it. Every sonnet has a reference reading, so you can listen to a line, say it yourself, and compare the two recordings.
