Work, personal life, and everything between deserve their own Space. Crest is a native browser for iPhone and iPad that keeps your accounts separate, your tabs organized, and your browsing distinctly yours.
KEEP YOUR ACCOUNTS SEPARATE
Each Space has its own tabs, cookies, website data, history, passwords, and site permissions. Stay signed in to different accounts on the same website. Switch from work to personal browsing without carrying the wrong session with you.
GIVE EVERY TAB A PLACE
Pin the sites you use every day. Save pages in folders. Keep today's tabs close and completed work in the archive. Select and move tabs, folders, and Split View groups together. On iPhone, bring in the sidebar with a gesture; on iPad, keep it beside your page.
MAKE IT YOUR OWN
Start from Winter, Lion, or another template in Crest Studio, then choose a color for each part of the crest and the sidebar. Choose a crest, emoji, monogram, or symbol. Appearance settings adjust the window border, sidebar material, tab corners, borders, and default page zoom.
KEEP RELATED PAGES TOGETHER
Group two to four pages in Split View. On iPad, browse them side by side and resize the columns. On iPhone, swipe across the compact toolbar to move between pages in the group. Peek lets you check supported links without losing your place, then keep the page as a tab when you need it.
TOOLS FOR EVERYDAY BROWSING
Choose one default search for every Space and another for Private Browsing, or pick one for a single Space. Search from a new tab to find the pages and tabs you use most. Translate webpages on device with Apple's Translation framework. Read supported articles in Reader, find text on a page, adjust zoom, share links, and export pages. Content blocking and site permissions give you control over each Space. Language availability varies, and translation may require a language download.
PRIVATE WHEN YOU NEED IT
Private Browsing uses temporary website storage. Private tabs stay out of saved history, restoration, archive, and sync. Crest does not run an advertising SDK, collect browsing analytics, or require a Crest account.
PICK UP ON ANOTHER DEVICE
Optional iCloud sync keeps supported Space and tab organization available across your Apple devices through your private iCloud database. Crest is also available for Mac.
Crest is free and open source, built with Apple's WebKit. Requires iOS 26.1 or iPadOS 26.1 or later. Some website features and integrations vary by device.
I wasn’t going to leave a review for this app. I had to swap browsers after the “Browser Company” stopped making the thing they named themselves after. The iPhone version of the App is alright, and I am generally having a good time with the Mac version. The reason I am leaving this review is because of how shocked I was when I opened up the iPad version of this browser. Seldom do I find an application that is 1 to 1 for the iPad experience to the Mac experience for the same product. I found it incredibly comforting to be able to swap from my Mac to my iPad and have the exact same UI. I’m sure that there are slight differences if I looked deep enough, but I haven’t had a whole lot of experience with the platform, but I hope to change that in the coming months. Keep up the good work because I think that a lot of people are going to find a new home within Crest, a true successor to Arc. If I had to give any notes, my first priority would be to try to get a way to make the default have the spaces share a profile instead of being separate. I can absolutely see the merit in it, and it may be something that I keep, but I believe that it poses as the number one barrier for people looking to swap into the browser.
Promising but too buggy atm

I love what their going for here and there’s a version for both mac and iphone/iPad which is great. Thee UI and feature set look good, but it's just too buggy on bot iPad and Mac right now. Haven't tried the iphije iPhone version yet and don't see the point if the others don't work right. Current issues in iPad are that the Setings tab won't stay open, and back when it initially did on my first day of usng this app, the Season engine management pane wouldn't open at all so I could add a xusrom search engine. Just too many bugs for now, but I'll keep an eye on this app's developement, hope it gets better.
Developer Response
Hi, thank you for trying the browser. I had a bit of a complicated time getting a good mobile release process setup, and working with delays for approval means bug fixes end up getting grouped together. That said, I agree there were some bugs that needed fixed, please let me know if the current 0.7 version is working better for you, and you can always join the TestFlight for the bleeding edge updates, but I’m going to be better about heavily testing before doing a stable release here.
Great browser

I’ve been using Crest for a while now and it’s by far my favorite browser. First browser with spaces I’ve enjoyed on mobile.

How you dont have a + button or smth to create a new tab or search like arc while browsing is crazy work. Deleted.
Developer Response
Hello, yes I’ve noticed having a floating new tab button has become a common request and will be coming soon. As for search while browsing, I need to illustrate it better but you can long press the url bar to open search. The app is always evolving, and getting great feedback so I encourage you to watch for updates as I take this feedback into the future updates.
Crest 0.8.50 brings new ways to move around on iPhone and iPad, and a layout made for iPhone Duo.
• Swipe in from the left edge of a page to go back, and from the right edge to go forward.
• On iPhone, swipe across the address bar to move through your Space's tabs.
• Share a link from any app to open it in Crest.
• On iPhone Duo, controls sit in the side bar, pages fill each display, and folded like a book, the sidebar and page or a Split View's two pages each take a side.
• On iPad, the sidebar starts narrower, leaving more room for the page.
Fixes
• Videos that sites play full screen no longer go black.
• Tapping the address bar selects the whole address.
• A new iPhone or iPad that syncs with iCloud uses your default search, and turning Crest Passwords on or off reaches your other devices.
• Crest no longer leaves an empty band at the bottom for a keyboard that isn't showing.
• Tinted and clear app icons now match your other apps.
