Canvas now keeps track of selected albums more reliably when Photos updates your library. Temporarily unavailable albums stay selected, and slideshow progress is preserved while they reconnect. This update also improves shuffle recovery so returning photos are shown before a new cycle begins.

Choose Feels like, Temperature, or Dew point for the right-side weather scale. Temperature scales use a cold-to-hot range and your device’s temperature units, and your choice is remembered.

Shuffle now works through every eligible photo before repeating, including photos shared across selected albums. Shuffle progress is saved across restarts, and temporarily unavailable photos remain queued for retry. Canvas also warns when a selected album is unavailable so missing albums cannot silently reduce your slideshow. Live Photos now stay still after playing once when looping is off, preventing unintended replays during slideshow updates and transitions.

Improved slideshow reliability when rotating your iPad, including portrait-photo grouping, playback progress, and resuming after a scheduled pause.

Fixed extra spacing between the battery, date, and clock when the weather overlay is displayed.

This update improves slideshow reliability, safely recovers from unavailable photos, and makes navigation faster for large collections. Google Photos imports and Apple Photos mirroring are more dependable. Edited photos refresh correctly, and date and hidden-photo filters work more consistently. A connected Ambient weather station now supplies the weather on its own. Apple Weather is used only when no station is connected. Weather freshness is clearer, and audio playback, local audio imports, and settings recovery are also improved.
