New "Situations" unit in 쉬운 한국어 • Ten short pieces on everyday situations: seeing a doctor, getting a haircut, ordering at a restaurant, paying the bill, exchanging clothes, the pharmacy, opening a bank account, collecting a parcel, taking the subway, and phone repairs. • Six lines each, with Chinese and English, three vocabulary notes, tap-to-look-up and audio. Easier side-by-side reading • All seventy-two 쉬운 한국어 pieces now break by sentence instead of running together as one block. • Translations now sit under each sentence rather than in one lump at the end of the paragraph. • Added the missing translations for the featured daily article. Better tap-to-look-up • Fixed six words that resolved to the wrong dictionary entry. Tapping 한다 used to return "limited to" — it now returns "to do". 문을 연다 used to return "soft"; it now returns "to open". • 준다 now reads the sentence: 효율을 준다 is "to give", 부담이 준다 is "to decrease". • Close listening now uses sentence context too, matching reading. A more complete dictionary • Filled in over a hundred missing Chinese and English definitions. • Corrected romanization for sixteen entries, including 극복하다, 말문이 막히다 and 귀가 얇다. Also • Cleaned up duplicated articles and idioms. • Fixed 산다 (to live / to buy), 안다 (to know / to hold) and 비운다 (to empty).

This release finishes dark mode properly and corrects the Traditional Chinese used throughout the dictionary. Dark mode • The theming system was rebuilt from the ground up. Switching themes now updates every screen at once — no more half-light, half-dark. • Every screen was checked for contrast in dark mode, and icons and cards that were hard to see have been fixed. Dictionary wording • 724 definitions corrected. Entries that used to read 幹燥, 頭發, 臺風, 關系, 面包 or 手表 now correctly read 乾燥, 頭髮, 颱風, 關係, 麵包 and 手錶. • Hand-written entries are no longer altered by automatic conversion. Korean typography • Korean passages now use Korean quotation marks instead of the Chinese and Japanese brackets that had slipped in. Practice • The grammar fill-in game reshuffles on every replay — both the question order and the answer choices — so two rounds are never identical. Ads and subscription • Fixed the rewarded video showing a test placeholder instead of a real ad when unlocking the day. • The subscription price now comes straight from the App Store, so you always see it in your own currency. Other • The version number in Settings no longer shows a wrong value when it cannot be read.

This release rebuilds tap-to-look-up and corrects the romanization across the whole dictionary. Look-ups are more accurate • Compound words are no longer split incorrectly. 중장년층, 스타트업, 트레이드오프 and 리터러시 now return the right meaning. • Part of speech is judged from context. In 효율을 높이는, tapping 높이 now gives the verb 높이다 (to raise), not the noun 높이 (height). • Passive and causative forms are marked, so 칭찬받다 reads "be praised" rather than "praise". Fuller definitions • 134 new entries. • Second and third senses added for thousands of words — 에너지 now covers both "vigour" and "energy, power". Romanization corrected throughout • Now based on actual pronunciation: 독립 is dongnip, 신라 is silla, 국민 is gungmin. • More than 1,700 words corrected. Pronunciation rules completed • Added ㄹ nasalisation, fixing common words such as 능력, 대통령, 심리, 정리, 협력 and 종로. Experience • Interface and content now follow your device language consistently. • Fonts are bundled, so the app looks right on first launch and offline. • Simplified launch screen.
