Bingua: Learn Languages
Scroll Videos, Tap Subtitles
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Six languages, thousands of fun videos, dual language subtitles, and words you can tap to see their translation. Save what you learn and review it later.
Most language apps teach you sentences nobody actually says. Bingua delivers fun videos made by real speakers and hands you the tools to actually understand the language.
Scroll to watch the next video. Every video comes with a dual-language transcript. Tap any word you don't know for an instant translation. Swipe a transcript line to see how the whole sentence fits together. Save anything worth remembering and it becomes a flashcard that comes back exactly when you're about to forget it.
SIX LANGUAGES
Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Italian and Portuguese, each with its own library of real videos and English subtitles throughout.
A FEED THAT LEARNS YOU
Tell Bingua what you're interested in and how hard you want to work. The feed serves video matched to your topics and your level, and sharpens the more you watch. Switch to Discover whenever you want to go deep on one subject.
TAP ANY WORD
Instant translation, part of speech, and a plain-English explanation of what that word is doing in that particular sentence. No dictionary, no leaving the video.
FLASHCARDS THAT SCHEDULE THEMSELVES
Saved words and sentences enter a spaced-repetition deck. Bingua tracks what's slipping and puts it back in front of you before it goes.
PRACTICE, NOT PADDING
A ten-question quiz built from your own saved cards: listening, typing, matching and speaking questions.
BUILT TO KEEP YOU GOING
A daily goal you set yourself, a streak, and reminders you control.
YOURS, EVERYWHERE
Create an account whenever you like and your cards, progress, and settings follow you to your next device.
