A word that is about to come up for review never shows there, so your next review is still real remembering. "Due for review" shows how many words are waiting and opens your review in one tap. Its card now shows the everyday word it can replace: instead of "reduce". And once you know an everyday word well, its card points you to the stronger one. Tap the line for a short note in your own language on when each one fits - the everyday word is never wrong. CLEARER CARDS Wordseed has its own typeface now, the same on every phone. The word you are learning is bigger, with its part of speech, word level (A1 to C2) and pronunciation right under it - tap the pronunciation to hear it. After you flip a card, the definition, your meaning and the example appear one after another. A BETTER FIRST DAY New accounts no longer start with an empty deck: the last step of setup is picking your first three words, and your first review starts right after. This one is about seeing clearly - and about Wordseed starting where you already are. A NEW LOOK, TOP TO BOTTOM Wordseed has dark mode. Pick Light, Dark or Match my device from the account menu; by default it follows your phone. Text opens larger than before, headings are properly bold, and the pale grey labels that were hard to read outdoors are gone. REVIEWS READ LIKE A DICTIONARY PAGE The card is left-aligned with the word large at the top, and every block is labelled - definition, meaning, similar words, often said with. A progress bar shows how far into the session you are. Each answer comes back as a clear block: green for right, amber for close, red for wrong, with a tick or a cross so you are never reading colour alone. ADDING A WORD TAKES ONE SCREEN The input box is now the first thing on the Add tab instead of the eighth. Pasting a list and reading today's passage each open as their own screen, so there is only ever one main button in front of you - and going back never throws away what you typed, not even the lines you pasted over today's limit. From then on your daily reading passage and the order of the word ideas follow the words you are actually holding onto. Profile has a new panel for it, Words you're holding, which also shows how much of your own deck is staying with you - free for everyone. YOUR WORD LIST AT A GLANCE Recall is grey while a word is safe, amber as it fades, red when it is nearly gone, so a healthy deck finally looks calm. Topics carry a coloured dot instead of a solid pill, and the word itself is now the biggest thing on the row. EDITING A CARD Opening a card puts the meaning first instead of four numbers, Save stays within reach at the bottom of the screen, and every field has a visible name - so coming back to an old card, you can still tell which box is which. ALSO FIXED Cards stuck on flashcards can be fixed again: the missing step now appears the moment you open the card. About one card in seven that had been through AI had quietly stopped getting its dictionary entry filled in - those are back in the queue. Words with brackets or several words no longer arrive empty.
