Looking back now feels like an album • On Home, each reel is a card with three prints — the first, middle and last moments — and a date tape, so you can see what's inside at a glance. Slide sideways for the next reel. • "Distant Memory" reels arrive with their prints already painted. • Thumbnails in Timeline and Recent now have a photo-print border. Gestures • Swipe left on Home for Timeline, right for Settings. • Pull Home down to reveal the camera waiting behind it. Swipe up on the camera to close it (never while recording). Appearance • Settings > Appearance now offers Light and Match iPhone. Only the colors change; the camera screen stays dark. Also • Reels now show the dates they span instead of "clips / days / seconds". • Counts and reels refresh when the date changes while the app is open, or when you come back the next morning.

• The date signature on clips and reels now uses a heavier weight, so it stays readable when shared.

Search your days • Type a word like "kids", "park", "ramen", "dog" or "beach" to find the clips that show it. Recognition happens entirely on your iPhone — no tagging, nothing leaves the device. • Matches line up by date. With AYU3 Plus, turn them into a reel in one tap. A new finish: Toy Camera • A finish that looks like a lucky shot from a cheap little lens — richer color, dark corners, color fringing at the edges, and now and then a light leak. • Like the other finishes, it's picked automatically, and only once in a while. When it shows up, call it a lucky day. • AYU3 Plus: you can also pick it under "Change the finish", or apply it to a whole reel with "Match the look". Also: • Fixed a rare crash right after launch.

Bug fix: • In places with poor or no signal, AYU3 Plus could fall back to the free limit of 5 clips a day. AYU3 now keeps a record of your last verified purchase on the device, so Plus stays active in crowds, underground, or in airplane mode. • After updating, open AYU3 once with a connection so it can save that record.

• The camera no longer switches lenses mid-recording, so close-ups and low light stay sharp all the way through. • Reels now have a timeline: step back and forward one clip at a time, hold for the previous or next day, or scrub to see the date and time. • AYU3 Plus: give a whole reel one look, then save or share it as is. • The date signature now includes the time in every look.

Bug fix: • Saving or sharing a single clip left out the date signature. The exported video now carries the same signature you see when playing it in AYU3 (reel exports are unchanged). • With iCloud backup on, deleting a clip took about a second to disappear. Deletion is now immediate; the iCloud side is cleaned up in the background.

Everyday clips, like a memory from long ago. Meet "Distant Memory", a new way to watch your reels. • Every so often, a special effect settles on your weekly or monthly reel, and it appears as a "Distant Memory". Open it, and your everyday clips feel like a memory from long ago (a hand-drawn kind of finish) • With AYU3 Plus, switch any reel with the brush icon at the top right ("See it as a distant memory"). "Save to Photos" exports that look, too • Everything happens on your iPhone. Your original recordings are never changed iCloud backup (optional) has arrived. • Turn on "Back up to iCloud" under Settings › Save › iCloud Backup, and your recordings (the videos plus their date and finish settings) are stored in the iCloud of your own Apple Account. AYU3 has no servers • After changing phones or reinstalling, "Restore from iCloud" brings everything back — finishes and dates included • Only what's new is sent, you can choose Wi-Fi only, and the upload keeps going after you leave the app. It's off by default Small improvements to the camera and controls: • The front/back switch now sits to the right of the record button, like the built-in Camera • Lens labels match the built-in Camera, and the zoom value appears mid-screen while pinching • When you reach the daily limit, the camera says "That's all for today" • Delete confirmations now appear right next to the clip you long-pressed • Titles of reels you pick now include the year (2026/9/8)

Bug fixes and capture improvements. Three seconds, same as always — nothing about how you shoot has changed. • Added video stabilization: fine hand shake is smoothed out, while the natural sway of walking is kept • Fixed the camera sometimes not opening from the Lock Screen button while another screen was open in the app • Morning and midday clips no longer receive sunset-colored looks. Monochrome now appears only as an occasional, special finish

The camera now uses every lens on your iPhone. • Switch from 0.5× ultra wide to telephoto with a single tap • Pinch to zoom smoothly — even while recording • Your device's lenses are detected automatically. Nothing to set up Straight to the camera from your Lock Screen. • Add "Record with AYU3" to the Lock Screen, Control Center, or the Action button • Unlock, and the camera opens — no home screen in between Three seconds, same as always.
