• Masters: a new optional twist — the player whose turn it is also names the song and artist out loud. 25 points for one, 50 for both. • Masters: when time runs out you see the year and everyone's points straight away, and the host reveals the song and artist after the naming. • The app remembers your name when you join a game. • Ending a game now always reaches everyone, long song names are shown in full, and the game code is shown when a game has ended.

• Multiplayer: it is now clear whose timeline is in play and whose turn it is to challenge. • Dropped out? Rejoin with the same code and keep your timeline. • Teams can be arranged in the order you are sitting in, and joining now needs a name. • New Funk category, plus many more songs in Jazz, Reggae and rock. The Easy level now works in every category. • The same artist no longer comes up twice within two songs.

• The reveal screen now shows the album cover, and a tap takes you to the song on Apple Music.

• Got a code? You can now redeem an App Store code inside Bopline — menu, Premium, "Redeem a code". • When you play the 30-second previews, the reveal screen now links to iTunes, where you can go and get the full song.

• Your country is now detected correctly even when your phone language is English. Before, you could end up on the International catalogue and miss your own country's songs entirely. • Picking a category with a token: the choice is now shown, and changing it before the song starts no longer costs another token.

• New: Difficulty. Pick Easy, Normal or Hard to suit your group. Normal is the new default and keeps the better-known songs, so premium no longer buries you in album tracks. • Change difficulty mid-game from the menu — the current song switches straight away. • Songs whose title or artist isn't written in the Latin alphabet no longer come up.
