Fixed: map became sluggish over time on some Android devices; NOTAM classification of rescue services.

Mapping (Pro): draw an area and Hoverpoint calculates the photo route for orthophotos and 3D models – export as DJI KMZ as usual. Spots along a route: enter start and destination and see every community spot on the way. Read receipts in the support chat, camera action "Take photo", PRO labels when customizing the dashboard, and the book is now called "The drone guide".

Important for C2 drones: without a valid A2 certificate in the EFB, the operation is A3 — 150 m from residential and commercial areas instead of 30 m from people. Hoverpoint now takes this into account and checks the distance on the map. The briefing also names your subcategory and why it applies. The map is easier to read: distinct country borders, labels with an outline. When drawing a mission area you can switch between satellite and map.

The waypoint editor can now do everything the browser can: • Insert waypoints in the middle, reorder them, set one altitude for all • Aim the camera at the previous point, the start point or a waypoint – the angle stays right when you move things • Choose the turn direction, steer the nose yourself • A point of interest is now actually flown Fixed: intro screen cut off with large fonts, meet-up notice unreadable on the home screen, ADS-B source sat on the scale bar.

§21h application: place and date of the signature can now be entered in the app — the date pre-filled with today, the place from your pilot profile. The application can now be completed entirely on the device. Leave both blank and the line stays free for filling in by hand. Fixed: the pilot's declaration is now a numbered section and still makes sense after a page break. An attached map excerpt sits centred on its page again.

Checklists: individual items can now be edited instead of only deleted and created again — press and hold an item. The new icon at the top right changes the order, and a long press on a list renames it. New: "Save as record" captures date, time and the state of every item, with coordinates if you want. Your own checklists can now be edited in the browser too. Fixed: after the location jumps shortly after opening, the map re-checks on its own.

NOTAMs on the map: the notices affecting your location are now drawn as areas — you can see where a closure ends. Tap one to read it. Dashed circles are an assumed radius, not an official boundary. Fixed: in Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands, tapping the map reported "No restrictions" even when a NOTAM reported a closure right there. Flight log: new field for the distance flown, with a total in the summary, in the CSV and in the PDF.

360° panoramas now in the app If a community spot has a 360° panorama, a 360° button appears at the top left above the photos. Tap it and look around in full screen by dragging. Until now this only worked in the browser. Also fixed: in the browser the toolbar of the 360° viewer was invisible - zoom and fullscreen sat outside the visible area. New in the browser: type a place into the search box on the community spots to centre the radius search on it.

Login: wrong credentials now say “email address or password is incorrect” instead of a technical message. Flight log: date no longer wraps mid-word on narrow screens. New: “What Hoverpoint costs” in settings – running costs in the open. Map: much less data used while panning. Browser: share flight log entries as an image.

NOTAM list tidied up: notices without a clear area of effect only near you, sorted by distance. EFB: A1/A3 and A2 are one card “Certificate of competence” – one certificate is free for everyone. Dashboard: the EFB section is now always there. Spots: pilot names stay up to date, handles as “@handle”. Support chat: attachments from the browser are shown. New in the browser: avatar builder, CSV import into the logbook, attachments in support.

In this update, we’ve added a highly requested feature: - You can now change your email address and password directly and securely within the app settings (as well as in our web portal). We’ve also fixed a few bugs in the web app. Have a great flight!

Important NOTAM update: Hoverpoint now searches for NOTAMs within a significantly larger radius. Previously, large-scale alerts—such as those for military exercise areas—might have been missed even if you were located right in the middle of the affected zone. Netherlands: Airspace data is back, now sourced directly from the air traffic control authority, LVNL. Finland: Tapping on an airspace zone once again displays the relevant information. New in the browser: Pilot business card and pilot profile under "My Profile."

New: Service status Hoverpoint checks every 30 minutes whether the geozone, NOTAM and airspace services of the covered countries are responding. You'll find the overview in Settings under "Help & news" – with a traffic light per country and provider. If your country's zone source goes down, Hoverpoint tells you right on the map. This matters, because in that case an empty map does not mean the airspace is clear. New: Hoverpoint in the browser Flight log, licences & permits, EFB and hangar can now also be used on your computer. Entries, documents and drones sync both ways – entered on the PC, available in the app and vice versa. New: Permit check in mission planning The mission details compare the federal state of your flight area with your granted permits and tell you whether one of them applies there. New: Year in review in the flight log Flights, flight time, favourite drone and spots of a year on a shareable card. If you like, your flight statistics also appear on your public pilot page. Improved: Granted permits can be exported as PDF, and for each reference number you can see how many flights you have logged under it. Netherlands: There is currently no usable data source for the Dutch geozones – the previous provider has ceased operations. The app now tells you this openly instead of showing an empty map. A replacement is being worked on. Fixed: The map could freeze on start-up if a saved offline region no longer existed.

New: Licenses & Authorizations • Authority Finder: identifies the competent state aviation authority, including contact details, costs, processing time, and required documents—synced with your EFB. Pro feature: application package as a PDF and email draft. • License guide for A1/A3 and A2 categories, with push notifications before expiration. • My Authorizations: manage granted authorizations (including official notices) and expiration alerts; transfer reference numbers to the flight log. Fixed: Issues where documents in the EFB would not open after an update.

New: Community spots can now be saved as drafts – create them on location, add photos and text later at your desk. New: In the Hangar you can record the weight of accessories. The display adds up drone plus accessories against the maximum take-off mass. New: The daily weather warning arrives at a time you choose – and Hoverpoint now speaks Dutch as well. Fix: The feedback form works again.

Fix: An issue that could incorrectly trigger the device limit after reinstalling the app is fixed. New: You can now switch your active device yourself (e.g. new phone) – no need to contact support, available once every 30 days. Also: Cloud backup reliability in the Hangar has been improved.
