This update fixes a problem that could leave you stuck on the login screen after signing in. If you have run into that, this release resolves it. • Alerts has a tab of its own, in the middle of the bar — and proposals on your jobs now appear at the top of it, so you can see and answer them at a glance. • Unread messages are far easier to spot: the Chat tab now shows a dot, and unread conversations stand out in the list. • See whether the person you are chatting with is online, or when they were last seen. • The chat you are reading no longer interrupts you with its own notifications, and the app badge now clears once you have read everything. • Maps tell you when location is switched off and take you straight to the setting that turns it back on.

• The chat you're reading no longer interrupts you. Notifications from your other conversations still arrive as normal. • If you signed up to work, dlance now reminds you to finish verifying your identity — until that's done you can't send proposals or be hired. • Maps now tell you when location is switched off, and take you straight to the setting that turns it back on.

• Notifications are here. dlance can now tell you when someone messages you, sends an offer, or moves your order forward — even when the app is closed. • Stay signed in. Closing the app no longer logs you out. • Manage your notifications. A new Notifications row in your profile shows whether they're switched on, and turns them on in one tap. • Maps open where you are. Posting an on-site job or pinning a location now starts from your current location instead of a default spot. • Fixes. Deleting a saved job alert now works, and an on-site job can no longer be posted with a pin you never placed.

• Choose your language — Lao or English — the first time you open dlance. You can change it any time from Home or your profile. • A simpler chat. Whether a job is on-site or remote now follows the job itself, so there is one less thing to set while you work through an order. • dlance can now let you know when a newer version is ready.
