The Global Tax Free-Planet Tax-Free App is a tax-free sales registration application designed for international visitors to Japan.
*Please note that this app is exclusively designed for tax-free counters at commercial facilities and is not intended for use by individual merchants or stores.

With the Global Tax Free-Planet Tax-Free App, all you need is a smartphone or iPad to complete the entire tax-free registration process, from passport scanning to sales registration, quickly and easily.
The app also features an instant feedback function that detects input errors, missing information, and other issues, helping minimize mistakes during the registration process.
In addition, the app is fully prepared for Japan’s new refund-based tax-free system, which will take effect on November 1, 2026.
Automatic updates keep the app on the latest version, allowing you to continue using it under the new system without any additional setup or manual updates.
【How to Use】
With the Global Tax Free-Planet Tax-Free App, tax-free registration can be completed easily in just two steps.
■ STEP 1: Enter Customer Information
Simply scan the customer’s passport using the smartphone camera, and the customer information will be entered automatically.
■ STEP 2: Enter Product Information
The intuitive and user-friendly interface allows product information to be entered quickly and easily.
Integration with POS systems also enables faster and more accurate tax-free registration.
