Other apps sell you switch models. Klikki gives you a place to work - a newsroom, a temple, water over stones. Pick one that fits your day and start typing.
Your laptop keyboard barely makes a sound. Klikki gives it one.
Most typing-sound apps sell you switches. Klikki gives you somewhere to be - the clatter of a newsroom, the hush of a temple, water moving over stones. Pick the one that fits the work in front of you, set the volume, and start typing.
SOUNDS
Crisp - Clack, Thock, Butter, Vintage, Newsroom, Garage
Soft - Riverbed, Petal, Whisper, Rosewood, Velvet, Ember
Calm - Orbit, Breeze, Tide, Temple
FEATURES
• Grouped by Feel: Sounds are filed by mood, not by switch model, so you can find the right one without knowing anything about keyboards
• Every Key Sounds Right: Space, return and delete each get their own sample, and modifier keys sound different again - the way a real keyboard does
• Volume You Can Hear: Drag the slider and each step plays as you set it, so there are no surprises the moment you start typing
• Mouse Clicks Too: Add a click for your mouse and trackpad, or leave it off. Keyboard and mouse switch on and off independently
• Menu Bar App: Sits quietly in the menu bar. Open it, change a sound, close it
• Native Mac App: Built in SwiftUI for macOS. No wrappers, no web views
PRIVACY FIRST
Klikki reads only which physical key was pressed, purely to choose a sound. It never records, stores or transmits anything you type. No analytics. No tracking. No network access.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
macOS 13 or later. Requires Input Monitoring permission so Klikki can tell when a key is pressed - Klikki walks you through granting it with a short video the first time you open it.
