The first three custom items are now free. Type anything your country list does not have and it becomes a pill of your own, coloured from its icon. The add screen shows how many free ones you have left. Everything that was free before is still free.

A proper welcome. Twelve cards now explain what the app is for before you use it: why a grid of coloured groceries beats writing a list, that everything sits on one screen, that it needs no account and no signal, and that there is no subscription. Every picture is the real app, in your own language. And until you have moved a grocery up into your list, the app shows you how, every time you open it. Your shopping list shows how many items are left to buy.

Sharing a list now works end to end. Send the link, the other person taps it, and your list is on their phone — the same pills, with nothing to sign up for and no password to hand over. Your own custom pills are kept. Joining someone's list used to replace them; now both sets are merged, so nothing you made is lost. Quantities and hidden pills travel with the shared list too. On iPad, a card now sits between your cart and the catalog, recommending another independent app. Kickstart Exchange is a swap between small developers: showing someone else's app is what gets TapTap Grocery shown in theirs. There is no advertising identifier, nobody is tracked, and your list is never involved. On iPhone there is no card. TapTap Lifetime removes it for good — the same one-time purchase that unlocks custom pills. The app also recognises an existing purchase faster at launch, so the card never appears to someone who has already paid.

Need two of something? Press and hold a pill on your list. It becomes ×2, ×3, as many as you need. Tap it once in the shop and it goes back.
