Match Conflicts recommend halo is now red (Aligns stay green). Non-recommended Yes/No options stay muted.

Match restore now requires a real completed quiz (same honesty bar as Ballot). TV Ballot measure tiles say Aligns/Conflicts with you only after you finish Match; recommended Yes/No uses each card’s own accent — no green ring on a red No.

All 50 states. Enter your ZIP to see who and what is on your ballot.
We never guess a House district. If we cannot place your ZIP on the map your state is actually using in 2026, we say so instead of showing you someone else’s race.
U.S. Senate races appear only where a seat is really on the November 2026 ballot. Statewide measures stay empty until they come from an official source.
Nonpartisan. Plain language. No party nudge.

What’s New in MyRepresent 1.33
• Laws & enactments now show a human-readable stage date next to the bill ID when the official event date is available (for example, Signed Aug 28, 2026). If the date is missing or invalid, the date is omitted.
Still nonpartisan. We explain what’s on your ballot—we never tell you how to vote.

What’s New in MyRepresent 1.30
• Optional electoral alerts — get notified when laws that cover your state are signed, then open straight to the plain-language alert in the app.
• Smarter alert flow — when several new laws arrive, tap Next to move through them; Dismiss closes the last one. Dismiss All still clears the queue.
• Lay Terms — short, neutral “what it’s about / now that it’s law / how it may affect you” in everyday language—not legal jargon.
• MR Bot exit — leave Ask MyRepresent with the X, a swipe down, or Done so you can reach your tabs again.
• Notification prompts — we ask once when you first open the app (and again only if needed later); you stay in control in Register.
Still nonpartisan. We explain what’s on your ballot—we never tell you how to vote.

What's New in 1.29: Push alerts when laws are signed
You can now turn on Electoral alerts on the Register tab. MyRepresent sends a push notification when a governor or the President signs legislation into law that matters for your state—including federal bills that affect everyone.
No account required. We only use your state or ZIP to pick relevant alerts. You can turn notifications off anytime in the app or in iOS Settings.
Tap the notification → full alert in the app
Tapping a push opens MyRepresent directly to the enactment alert screen—the same full tile you see in the app, not a stripped-down summary. Every alert includes:
• Lay Explain — a neutral, plain-language breakdown: what the bill was about, what changed now that it’s law, and how it may affect you
• Read official bill text — link to the government bill page
• Signing announcement — link to the governor’s or White House signing notice
• Dismiss — hide this alert
• Dismiss All — skip remaining alerts and jump to Match
We don’t editorialize. Alerts describe what happened and point you to official sources so you can read more yourself.
Ballot tab improvements
• Current badge on sitting officeholders so you can tell who holds the seat today
• Official profile links — tap through to government pages where available
• Recent outcomes — approved, denied, signed, and ratified measures and laws with short, neutral impact summaries
Match tab — clearer alignment language
Match results are easier to read at a glance:
• Aligns with you highlights topics where you and a candidate line up
• You said / They say rows use everyday language, not jargon
• All topics you answered in the quiz are shown, so nothing important is hidden
Under the hood
• Widget version aligned with the app (no more version mismatch warnings)
• Push Notifications capability and production APNs for reliable delivery
• Server-side alert dispatch after daily sync from official signing sources
How to try push alerts
Open Register
Set your state (or localize from ZIP on Ballot/Match)
Turn on Electoral alerts and allow notifications when iOS asks
You’ll be notified after the next qualifying signing for your state
A note on scope
Version 1.29 push alerts cover bills signed into law by a governor or the President. Ballot measure results still appear on your Ballot tab; voter-approved or denied propositions are not push-alerted yet in this release.
As always
MyRepresent is nonpartisan. We help you see who and what is on your ballot, compare candidates to your own answers, and follow what government actually did—without pushing you toward any party or position.
Questions or feedback? We read every note. Thank you for using MyRepresent.

What’s new in 1.28: Laws & enactments alerts! MyRepresent now tells you when important legislation is signed into law — not just when elections are coming up.
• Alerts when the California governor or the President signs a bill into law
• Plain-language summaries with links to the official bill text
• See recent enactments on the Ballot tab
• Optional push notifications on the Register tab (state/ZIP only — no account required)
We only say “signed into law” when the official record confirms it. Nonpartisan. Built for everyday voters.

What's New in 1.27
Smarter Match after the primaries
Match now reflects who's still in the race — not the full primary field. After each state's primary (and a short certification window), we refresh your ballot so eliminated or withdrawn candidates no longer appear as your top alignment. Example: California Governor now shows the general-election field (Xavier Becerra and Steve Hilton), not candidates who did not advance.
Works across all 13 covered states
California, Texas, New York, Florida, Ohio, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Wisconsin. Each state's election calendar drives when we switch from the primary field to the general-election field — including top-two states like California and Washington.
Stays up to date automatically
Nominee updates ship through our servers. Open Match or Ballot (or bring the app to the foreground) and you'll pull the latest field — no waiting on a separate App Store update for every primary result.
Always nonpartisan
We still never tell you who to vote for. When we have researched positions, we say so and link the source. When we only have a party baseline, we're honest about that too. Your quiz answers stay on your device.
Thank you for using MyRepresent. If something looks off on your ballot, check your state's Secretary of State for the certified list — and feel free to leave an App Store review.
