No servers. No analytics. Nothing is collected, stored or uploaded — there is nowhere for your data to go. Your screen and files travel directly from your iPhone to your TV over your local network.
GOOD TO KNOW
- Screen mirroring runs a few seconds behind — fine for photos and presentations, not for gaming or fast interaction. For films, cast the file instead: it plays in full quality with no delay
- Mirroring stops when your iPhone locks; this is a system limitation
- On Samsung, LG and other DLNA TVs, playback is controlled from inside the app, and which file formats play depends on the TV; MP4 videos and JPEG photos work on almost all of them
- Protected content from streaming services can't be mirrored, due to system restrictions
- MKV and AVI files aren't supported — convert to MP4 first
- If your TV doesn't appear, it may use a casting system Relayo doesn't support yet
