GO School - Olympia
Gospel Outreach Olympia
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
GO School keeps Gospel Outreach Olympia families and staff on the same page, every school day.
Parents and guardians see the day that matters to them: which classes each child has, what homework is due, and any note from a teacher. Tick homework off as it gets done. Get a heads up before a quiz or test.
Teachers get their own teaching schedule, class rosters, attendance, and a gradebook, plus a simple way to post homework and send a note home. Notes to families are reviewed by the principal before they go out.
The principal sees the whole school: one queue for approving homework, announcements, and notes, plus rosters, families, staff accounts, and the master schedule.

1.1.1 Sep 30
Version 1.1: The Notes section is now called Messages. Principals can set up message groups, and teachers see pinned Homeroom teachers and All teachers groups. Teachers see all homework for their grades on one board, and a weekly assignment shows one week at a time. Teachers can offer to cover a class from the Cover Board, and a principal approves it. Holidays such as Veterans Day show on the Schedule as no-school days. When reporting a facility issue you can pick the room on the building map, and church members can sign in to see announcements and the schedule.
Messages now show who sent each message, and the inbox preview shows "You:" or the sender's first name. Homework cards keep finished work visible with an "N of M complete" count, and each card can be collapsed. After sending a note, a parent can mark their child absent right away. Home shows every active announcement under an Announcements header you can collapse into a one-line banner. Tapping a child on Home opens that child's homework, parents can share every linked sibling on a child's device, App Admins can edit the schedule like principals, and group classes are no longer flagged as schedule conflicts.
1.1 Sep 28
Tapping a child on Home now slides smoothly into that child's homework, and a freeze that could happen right after signing in is fixed. Teachers can now edit any class's room, time, and notes from the class page, and the app tells you when a class change can't be saved. You can now report a bug or request a feature from Profile and follow the school team's replies in the app. Parents' Home and Homework have a cleaner, easier-to-read layout: each child's card shows their open homework in simple one-line rows, each announcement is its own card, and the Homework tab lists every assignment with its class and due date. The Church roster now shows for teachers, coaches, principals, receptionists, facility managers, and App Admins, and is hidden from parents and students. The schedule now starts on the first day of school and shows one schedule all year. Teachers appear by their profile display name everywhere. Supply catalog items can have a photo from your library. On iPhone, parents' Home cards and Homework list are easier to read. Linking a sign-in or adding a person reuses the existing directory record instead of creating a duplicate. Invites were removed; people sign in with the email the school has on file. Parents' Home now fills the screen with each child's homework cards and stays clear of the tab bar. Teacher and roster class lists no longer show duplicates, and the Staff class count is accurate. Custom weeks for the schedule (customize any week, no-school days, copy a week to other weeks, restore to regular), live schedule sync with the website, and a cleaner parent homework view with accurate open counts. Parents can mark Absence on a specific note, which records that child absent in the attendance journal. Teachers, principals, and App Admins get a school-wide Attendance Log with date range, grade filter, search, and CSV export, plus Report Card Totals: pick any date range to see each student's days attended and missed (tardy counts as attended). Homework can now be posted to multiple grades at once, and picking a class fills in that class's grades. Gradebook access is unchanged — teachers still only see classes they teach.
