Aloud: Listen to Any Book

Audiobooks offline. Yours.

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Open a PDF or EPUB you own and Aloud reads it to you like an audiobook. The voice runs on your iPhone, so it works offline. 125,000 free classics are included too. 125,000 books. Free. No account. Nothing leaves your device. Aloud reads your books out loud in a voice you'll actually want to spend eleven hours with. Open it and the whole library is already there. Not a trial, not a taster. 125,000 complete books, unlimited listening, forever. Plus your first imported book, free and permanently yours. WHAT YOU GET WITHOUT PAYING ANYTHING • 125,000 books every classic, unlimited, forever • Every voice. No ads. No account. No email. No tracking. • Your first imported book, free and yours to keep • Track what you've read and what's next • Share what you finish, if you want to IT WORKS WHEN NOTHING ELSE DOES Aloud downloads once, then it's just yours. On a plane at 38,000 feet. On the train underground. Somewhere with one bar and no patience. There's no server to reach everything happens on the device in your hand. Lock screen controls, CarPlay, sleep timer, adjustable speed. NOBODY IS WATCHING WHAT YOU READ Your library never touches a server. Not ours, not anyone's. No account to create, nothing to sync, no dashboard somewhere with your name on it. The book goes in. The audio comes out. Both stay on your phone. ALOUD PREMIUM • Unlimited imports — bring your whole shelf • Studio voices, rendered on your own phone while you sleep • Export any book as a file you own and keep forever, on any device, after we're gone • Create a voice of your own $30 a year. Or $89 once, and never again. Less than a single paperback for a year of every book you own, read aloud. WHAT ALOUD CAN'T DO, SAID PLAINLY Books from Kindle, Apple Books, and Audible are locked by the companies that sold them, and no app can open them. Aloud reads DRM-free EPUB, PDF, and TXT — the files you actually own. We'd rather tell you now than take your money and let you find out. — Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions in your Account Settings after purchase.
