Enjoy fewer interruptions: between-game ads now appear after every third completed game. Your progress toward the next ad is saved when you close and reopen the app.

Five-round games now feature a wider variety of colors in solo and PVP. Color and Hex spread out hues, while named-color modes avoid similar color families. Shared individual pins and total scores now include a link that opens Pin the Hex when installed, or takes friends to the App Store or Google Play.

PVP invites now open Pin the Hex directly in the shared game mode and start matchmaking. If the app is not installed, the invite opens a website fallback with an App Store or Google Play option.

Share your feedback after five completed games. Solo games and Daily Pins count together, and the review request replaces the between-game ad for that completion.

Today’s Pin is now easier to spot with a colorful animated banner that highlights your current streak. We also improved Game Center matchmaking, connection recovery, and multiplayer status feedback.

This update adds multiplayer bots that begin filling open PVP seats after 15 seconds, with varied color-themed names and skill levels. Bot-supported practice matches leave Elo unchanged, while mixed matches calculate ratings only between human players. It also includes expanded diagnostics across gameplay, purchases, and ads.

Share polished color cards after any solo attempt or from the final Results screen. Scoring now follows visual pin distance across the full play field, with generous credit for close guesses. This update also improves between-game ad dismissal reliability.

Brand challenges are now split into Colleges, NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, Food, and Brands, with a separate personal best, Game Center leaderboard, and PVP pool for each. PVP and Ranks use cleaner, more compact layouts. Category games no longer repeat the same exact color within a five-round game. This update also fixes a duplicate lobby Cancel action and improves campaign measurement without showing an App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Brand now joins Color and Hex in PVP. Every player receives the same named brand challenge, target-aware hue-family field, and exact official hex target across five fast rounds. Brand mode still includes 300 color prompts from 269 familiar names and its dedicated solo leaderboard.
