What's new in 1.9.4 Bus supervisors • A progress bar on the trip screen shows each step: start, collect students, depart, arrive and hand over, safety photo, trip ended. • Once a trip has ended, a child who was never recorded says "Not recorded" instead of Waiting. • School pickup no longer stays stuck on "recorded on device" after the records have been sent, so you can depart. Everyone • The bottom menu steps aside while you type, so the keyboard no longer covers the reply box or leaves a gap above it.

What's new since 1.9 Bus supervisors • The trip card with its main button is always at the top of the trip screen. • Student names are never squeezed on the lists. • A green message confirms each student is logged, so you can scan the next one. • To record a child by hand, tap their photo. What's new in 1.9 Teachers • Exchange a period: from your timetable, ask a colleague to swap lesson times or cover each other's lessons, see your day before and after, and accept or decline the requests sent to you. Available when your school turns it on. • "I will be absent": tell the school from your timetable that you will miss today, part of today or a coming day. See the absences you reported and cancel one if your plans change. • New "My performance" tile and page: how much of your attendance, homework and summaries is done, by day and by class, with the items still missing. • Daily Questions now has its own tile on Home, and the More menu no longer repeats the Home tiles. • A short key at the top of the attendance screens explains what each button means. • Unread counts on Home and on Messages. • Videos start compressing as soon as you pick them, and each video shows its size and its own progress bar. What's new in 1.8 Important fix • Fixed the grey "Bus Trip" screen that never finished loading. In 1.7, supervising a bus trip from a teacher account could leave the trip screen stuck on grey boxes, and your phone could stop sending the bus's live location. The trip now opens normally and the location keeps updating. Please update before your next trip. Teachers • Homework and summary uploads now show a progress bar with a percentage, and videos are compressed so they upload and process faster. • Unsent homework and summaries stay saved, even after you close the app. • The "Attendance" item in Settings opens the daily register directly and shows how many items are waiting to send. What's new in 1.7 School administration • New "School overview" for school administrators: today's indicators, attendance, academics, finance, staff, communication and transport at a glance, plus a live bus map and student search. It is view only; changes are still made from the school's web dashboard. Parents • If your school has not turned on bus notifications, the bus screen now says so clearly. You can still open the live map during a trip. • A refused Undo now tells you why. • Lists of children, teachers, subjects and contacts are sorted alphabetically in the app's language. Teachers • Photo and video uploads are much more reliable: videos are compressed on the phone before sending, and progress shows each stage (preparing, uploading, processing) with a percentage. • If an upload is cancelled or interrupted, the app tells you exactly what happened and whether to check your sent media before trying again, even after you leave the screen. • Teachers who are also parents can switch to the parent view straight from a bus alert. Bus captains • Fewer false movement alarms: the app now needs stronger evidence before it decides the bus moved with a child still at the stop. • During a trip the screen stays on the trip. If a stop's safety window ends or the bus moves while a child may still be beside it, you get a critical alert even in Silent mode or when the app is closed. • The stop safety countdown now continues where it left off if the app is closed and reopened. • Live location keeps updating while your phone is locked or in your pocket. The app will ask to use your location "Always" during trips; this is only used while a trip is running. • Working a stop with no signal is now safe: confirmations are saved on the device and sent as soon as you reconnect. • The movement alert tells you which children are still unaccounted for. • Clearer trip screens: stops stay locked until the trip starts, cancelled or closed trips say so, and the sign-out button warns you if anything is still unsent. • Face check-in offers a quick manual option when the camera cannot get a clear match. • Full dark mode support.
