NiceGrab 1.3 makes window recordings smoother and easier to follow. A new Smooth Cursor option creates fluid cursor movement and displays the current macOS cursor at a clear, enlarged size. It is enabled by default and can be turned off from the menu. The menu bar now shows the recording duration, lets you stop by clicking the recording indicator, and displays an animated progress icon while your final video is being prepared. This update also improves recording performance, cursor rendering quality, and overall reliability.

NiceGrab can now record the foreground window with its cursor and system audio. Optionally include your microphone, and NiceGrab will frame the finished MP4 over your chosen background with rounded corners and a drop shadow. Screenshots can now be pasted directly onto the Desktop, and Compact padding is smaller.
