See what is taking up space with a clear, interactive treemap. Drill into folders, inspect files, and clean up without sending any data off your Mac.
DiskTiles turns a selected folder into a clear, proportional treemap. Large files and folders occupy more space, so the items that matter stand out immediately.
Choose any folder you want to understand. DiskTiles measures its contents locally and shows results progressively while the scan continues. Open a folder directly inside the treemap, follow the breadcrumb trail, or refresh only the folder currently on screen.
Features:
• Visualize folders as proportional, color-coded tiles
• See large items as soon as they are measured
• Drill into folders without starting over
• Pinch on a trackpad to enlarge smaller tiles
• Select an item to inspect its size, kind, date, and path
• Press Space for Quick Look
• Reveal items in Finder or copy their paths
• Move unwanted items to the Trash after confirmation
• Update the treemap immediately after removing an item
Private by design:
DiskTiles works locally and accesses only folders you choose. It does not create an account, include advertising, track activity, or collect and transmit personal data.
DiskTiles is a focused native macOS utility for understanding storage without unnecessary complexity.
