Now you can see who added each plan. In the month view, days with plans from your partner get a ring, and in the day view each plan shows the initial of whoever added it. No more missing a plan the other one put in. We also fixed a few small things so everything runs smoother.

The whole year too. • Surprises stay surprises. Turn off sharing on a plan and it stays on your phone only. • All of your dates: the day you met, the day you started dating, the engagement and the wedding — each with its own count and its own photo. You choose which one you celebrate. • Reminders that say the plan, and go off when you want them: 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes before, or right on time. • A summary of how your plans went, so you know which ones to do again — and a new hospital icon for medical appointments. We never ask for your location — you type your city, and you can change it whenever you travel.

• Delete a category right where you use it. Press and hold a category when you're writing a plan and it's gone — no trip to Settings. Its plans move to another category instead of disappearing. • Sound previews no longer pile up. Trying a second tone stops the first one, and leaving Settings stops it too, so you can actually compare them. • Five new category icons: a toast for date night, the beach, family, a dog and a cat, plus four old ones redrawn so you can tell what they are. • Category colours now come from the icon, so two categories only share a colour when they have something in common. • Add a photo to a plan and see them all together under Memories, in the summary. Photos stay on the phone that added them. • Your couple photo is now a wide banner instead of a small circle. • The time and reminder now sit in one tidy block instead of two half-empty cards. • Redeem an offer code straight from the app, without going to the App Store.
