Tutoring on a phone is far easier to use in 1.6.3. TUTOR SESSIONS ON PHONES • A slimmer session header, with Raise hand next to the LIVE indicator in group sessions. • The AI Tutor keeps the whole screen for the lesson: a one-line header, a swipeable topic strip, and Pause, Mic and Speaker in the footer. The mic greys out while the tutor is paused. • The whiteboard turns to the page your tutor is explaining, in both directions, and lesson goals stay fully readable instead of being cut short. • Arrows on the annotation toolbar reach every tool on a narrow screen. SCREEN SHARING • When a tutor shares their screen you can pinch to zoom and go fullscreen, and the phone turns to landscape. TUITION • Session status tabs are now swipeable chips with counts: Upcoming, In Progress, Proposed, Completed, Cancelled. MESSAGES • Messages shows only your real conversations, each labelled with the other person's role. Class notices from your school arrive here as conversations you can reply to. Plus layouts that match across phones and tablets, and refresh buttons on every screen.

Start before you sign up You no longer need an account to look around. Open the app and the first thing you see is content — lessons, Steps and free games — with a sign-up asked for only when you do something that needs one. Listen to your books TiBook novels with narration now play as audiobooks. Playback continues with the screen locked and the pages turn themselves, with play, pause and speed on the lock screen. Shared links open the thing they name A link to a course, a book, a game, a lab or a tutor now opens that item in the app instead of a web page — and it works before you have an account, so you can see what somebody sent you and decide. Paying where cards do not reach In countries where the App Store and Google Play cannot take the payment, you can now pay by mobile money or at your learning centre. Smaller things A help button on the Learn screen opens support directly. Orders now call every product by its own name. Pupils have their own privacy page for the learning and wellbeing tutor, where every choice is theirs. Several sheets and dialogs fit their screens properly, and a sign-up button that had been white on pale blue is readable again.

Lessons that fit your phone The AI tutor's whiteboard is now composed for a phone screen: picture pages are drawn at phone size, and the board follows the tutor to the page being explained. Quick checks with maths symbols A symbol row on the quick-check card, so answers like ½, × and ÷ are easy to enter, and marking accepts the forms pupils actually type. Follow the school bus Parents can see the bus on a live map, with pick-up and drop-off status for each child. Your progress, back where it belongs Level, streak and XP earned today are on the Learn dashboard again. Also in this release - Sheets and the Steps player's progress bar no longer sit under the navigation bar - Centre tablets can lock themselves on a timetable, and a blocked tablet says what will fix it - Steps: a tidier player header, a clearer quiz, and progress that clears the bar - Messaging is faster and steadier, with chat notifications

Tabsera Steps: short lessons you can swipe through, with questions that award points as you go — and parents can follow along live. Tap Steps on the Learn tab to jump straight in, right back where you left off. Scrub through a lesson, start its quiz at any time, and tap the tutor for a full lesson on that step. My Courses: the Courses shortcut on Learn now shows the courses you are enrolled in, with your progress and a button to carry on learning. Session requests: when a tutor proposes a session, accept or decline it from your Sessions tab. Your credits are only reserved once you accept. Also in this update: AI tutor transcripts now appear in Messages, the course player has next and previous buttons, and we fixed fullscreen video, signing in while offline, and the unread badges.
