You can write to me from inside Zen Otto now. Open More, then Write to the Founder. I read every message myself and write back within a few hours, 24 at most. A bug, a wish, a thank-you. Anything. Tell me what would make this better for you and your baby.

Yesterday is not gone any more. A row of dates now sits above your log. Tap one and the whole day comes back, feed by feed. The little bar under each date shows how full that day was. It is a shape, never a score. Potty is here too. Wee, poo or both, one tap each. Tracking, not training, and it starts long before the potty does. What is typical now runs to two years. A one year old was being shown a six month old's guidance. That was our mistake, and it is fixed. The Record screen had a tidy up. Two tiles to a row, the name beside its icon, and today's count where you can actually see it. Thank you for being up at 3am with us.

A warmer Zen Otto, and two widgets that finally work. EVERY SCREEN, REWRITTEN The app used to read like a settings file. Now it sounds like someone who has done this before and is not going to tell you what to do. Reminders are Gentle nudges, and they still only ever say how long it has been. Never that a feed is due. THE WIDGETS The Lock Screen and home screen now match the app instead of the old theme. The two home screen widgets also show your real log, which, honestly, they never did before. That is fixed. UNITS, AND A FACE Choose metric or imperial, weight included, in Settings or during setup. You can add a photo of your baby while setting up too. USAGE ANALYTICS New in this version, and on by default. They tell us which screens get opened so we know what to improve. They never carry anything you have logged: no names, no photos, no volumes, weights or temperatures. Switch them off any time in Settings, under iCloud and privacy.

A whole new look: Pink and Blue, a soft, illustrated alternate to Zen Otto's original design, on every screen in the app. It's set automatically once you tell Zen Otto your baby's name at set up, and you can switch it - or go back to the original - anytime in Settings. Pick your own app icon too, right there next to the theme. Smaller fixes: a few screens read their labels correctly for VoiceOver now, and the power-on screen animates the way it's meant to.

New sounds to play while your baby sleeps: white noise, rain, ocean, and heartbeat, each capped to AAP guidance, with playback controls on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. A running sleep now shows on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island too, the same way a feed already did. End it from there without unlocking your phone. iCloud backup is on by default, so your log survives a lost or replaced phone even if you're tracking alone. Feed and timer reminders are on by default too; pump stays off. Settings is now a menu of screens instead of one long list, and Reminders moved to More. Smaller fixes: every screen confirms a save with a toast now, a duplicate Bath entry in Activity is gone, the Activity photo tile no longer sizes itself off the photo, and the other parent is told the moment a feed starts, not just when it collides with theirs.

Sharing between parents is more reliable: your name now saves correctly, syncing recovers automatically from network drops, and updates arrive faster while a feed is happening. Today's Log now shows vaccinations, weight, and measurements alongside feeds and care. Smaller fixes: clearer diaper labels, a renamed "Breastfeed" key, your baby's photo next to their name, and better tap targets throughout.
