PRIVATE BY DESIGN
StillAcre uses Apple’s Screen Time APIs to block the apps you choose.
App selection happens through Apple’s private picker. StillAcre receives private selection tokens, not the names of the apps you select. Screen Time insights remain inside Apple’s protected Screen Time report.
Your complete grove and Screen Time choices stay on your device. Local play needs no account; Friends and Focus Rooms are optional. StillAcre has no in-app ads. Advertising measurement across companies requires your tracking permission. See our Privacy Policy for details.

I’ve been using this daily for a little over a week now. Most screen time blockers I’ve found don’t keep my interest enough to use more than a day or 2. The progression structure and pacing is fantastic and engaging and I can’t get enough of it. I love that there isn’t anything you can do after a certain point until you set focus time again, it makes it actually effective at keeping me from doomscrolling or playing useless apps for a long time. I’ve been spending noticeably more time with friends and on hobbies. The developer seems to listen to his customers very well. For example, when I started the game they had the cutest style and I especially loved the design of the bunnies and chickens. 2 days in, their designs changed. Honestly, the style they changed to is not for me, but I shrugged it off and figured that’s just how it would be now. Well today when I opened the app there was a dev note acknowledging that although he likes the newer style hence him changing it, a lot of people didn’t and reached out to him. He immediately added an option for people to revert to the previous style. There was maybe a weeks time or less between this btw. My conclusion to that is that the dev listens and accepts what his players want even if it might be not quite what he had in mind. As long as he is able to maintain the purpose of the game it seems that he wants to listen to the players feedback, which is good. All in all you can only play it for a few mins at a time without needing to set focus time off the phone again, and it is rewarding and progresses every time you come back to it. You can also choose what apps it blocks. I unblocked the apps I need for work and that’s all. Thank you dev. Highly recommend.
Super helpful

I have adhd, I also work from home. Because of that I do tend to struggle with picking up my phone and muscle memory takes me to apps that are incredibly distracting. I have tried using other apps for this and because there is no hit of dopamine from using them, I don’t continue to use them. This game is super cute and it shows you exactly what you will earn and how long it will take to complete each item or xp. I find myself getting frustrated if I forget to set it because then my crops don’t grow 😑 and only the passage of time that you have it set to limit your apps will let the game progress. I find that I’ll set the timer for 30-60 minutes and then set my phone down and I get a lot more work done because I know it’s completely inaccessible and so my brain disconnects from my phone. I also really appreciate that when reaching out about an issue, I get a super quick response. Something I think is likely unintentional but I find hilariously helpful is that while it’s functioning and blocking apps, my phone is running slow. This means I don’t even want to use my phone at all, which is quite helpful 😂 Overall I love this game and its app blocking abilities and see myself continuing to use it for quite awhile
Genuinely life hanging

I’m not usually one to pay for a mobile “game” but this has been the greatest exception. I can choose which apps are blocked in focus mode, rather than blocking out my whole phone, so I can still use my productivity apps without being distracted by other games and socials. I also love the little break I get when I come back to my grove and check in before entering another focus. It’s a very similar vibe to Stardew Valley, but with the added bonus of keeping me from doomscrolling! My screen time is finally under 4 hours a day and getting smaller (after regularly being at 6+ for months). Not to mention it feels good to support a small developer. Can’t recommend this app enough!
This app gets me excited to work!

I’m loving this app. It’s visuals are so nice and smooth, satisfying enough to enjoy yourself but not enough to get myself hooked on my phone for hours, which was the main reason I got the app in the first place. I’m always looking forward to my next work session :)
StillAcre has new creatures, features, artwork, and is smoother than ever!
