Specter Installer is the field companion for installing and validating Specter sensor deployments.
GUIDED SENSOR WALKTHROUGH Document every sensor with a step-by-step flow: confirm the unit (ID, hex, and serial shown together), review the build reference for indoor (PoE) or outdoor (tower) installs, capture solar-panel heading and tilt and RF-panel heading and elevation using the phone's own sensors with stability gating and automatic magnetic-declination correction, take install photos, add notes, run a device-graded health check, and review everything before moving to the next unit. Indoor sensors automatically skip the steps that don't apply.
WORKS OFFLINE Captures are stored on the device and upload automatically when connectivity returns — photos queue per sensor and drain in order, so nothing is lost at remote sites.
LIVE DIAGNOSTICS Watch a sensor's live RF link stats (signal, MCS, retries, throughput) at one-second resolution while aiming, view the sensor's own camera to confirm coverage, and run per-sensor health checks with grouped, device-graded results and one-tap environment remediation.
SITE-LEVEL VIEW A schematic site map shows every sensor around its mothernode with live link quality and the latest health-check verdict at a glance. Infrastructure checks verify mothernodes and telenodes; site-wide validation runs the full acceptance suite and gates visit completion. Visit history keeps every session — in-progress visits pin to the top and can be rejoined by any installer.
BUILT-IN REFERENCE Interface control documents with step-through install guides, an LED decode guide for sensors and mothernodes, and the full health-check reference are available offline in the field.
NOTE: Specter Installer is for Specter Inc. field-operations teams. It requires access to Specter's private deployment network (via Tailscale) and does nothing useful without it.
