Golden and blue hour are now derived from the actual position of the sun (+6° to −4° and −4° to −6°), so the times match the common references and change correctly with season and latitude. Also new: a bell on the home screen showing which reminders are currently active and which ones are coming up next. The info section now features my two other apps – Astrowetter and Fotoarchiv.

• The compass now works like Apple's own: the dial turns with your iPhone and a fixed arrow at the top shows the way you are facing. Sun and moon appear in their real direction on screen – in landscape, too. • More for water sports: wind now shows direction, Beaufort, gusts and the current wind. The 24-hour chart adds a Beaufort scale, gusts and direction arrows. • Changes in Settings only take effect when you tap "Apply" – a loaded favorite stays active until then. • The 24-hour charts make better use of the space in landscape.

• The 24-hour chart for temperature and wind speed now displays correctly within the view. • More accurate fog forecast: the probability now takes humidity, wind and time of day into account – realistically higher in the morning and correspondingly low on dry summer afternoons.

This update brings two new features for more control over your photo planning: • Enlargeable compass: Tap the small compass next to sun and moon times to view it larger and with more detail – handy for precise alignment. • 24-hour chart: Tap a weather condition's name to see its trend for the next 24 hours as a curve – great for comparing different times at a glance. The temperature tile also now shows the current temperature separately, when it differs from your selected forecast time.

This update gives you more control over your favorites, more reliable reminders, and a new language: • Swipe between favorites: On the home screen, simply swipe left or right to switch locations • Quick switch: Tap the location name to jump directly between all your favorites • Reorder favorites: Just drag to rearrange your favorites list • Color tags: Assign a color to each favorite to tell them apart at a glance • Safer deleting: Favorites are only removed after a confirmation • Save instantly: Save your current settings as a new favorite with one tap • More reliable reminders: A hint lets you know if notifications are disabled for the app – with a direct link to iOS Settings Photographer's Weather is now also available in Spanish – making it trilingual (German, English, Spanish).

New: Afterglow – shows the likelihood of red evening/morning sky glow. New: Next full moon and new moon with date and countdown in the moon times. Improved: Sun, moon, and photographic times now reliably show the next upcoming event first. Fixed: Moonrise/moonset and moon phase now display consistently.
