Fourteen Pulsepoints, eleven countries, three regions — on the lobby wall. Local time & current conditions at every office, and a globe that turns to each in turn.
Fresnaye Pulsepoints turns an Apple TV into a lobby display for the Fresnaye & Company Pulsepoint network.
The screen alternates between two views. A slow, continuous rail carries a card for each of the fourteen Pulsepoints — the same cards used on fresnaye.com, with the office photograph, its tier, and the local time where it is. Every few minutes the rail gives way to a globe, which turns to bring each office to the front in turn and shows its card alongside, with the network drawn between them as great-circle arcs.
Local time is calculated on the device. Current conditions are read from Fresnaye Connect, which is also the source used by the mobile app, so the wall and the phone always agree. When a reading is unavailable the icon is simply absent rather than stale.
The app is built for screens that run unattended. It holds off the tvOS screen saver, drifts its layout slowly to protect the panel against burn-in, and reports in to Fresnaye Connect so that a display which has stopped running is noticed rather than discovered.
