Write to the present from your best future self. Post your letter, let time pass, then read and reflect how far you've grown when the day arrives.
Meet the person you’re becoming.
Future Post is an iPad writing ritual for connecting with your best future self. Choose a point ahead, imagine the best version of your life, and write a letter back to who you are today. Post it, let time pass, then return when the day arrives to read and reflect.
WRITE YOUR WAY
Type with rich formatting or write by hand with Apple Pencil. Keep your personal values and dated goals nearby as gentle context—not as a scorecard.
LET TIME DO ITS PART
Choose tomorrow, one week, one month, six months, one year, or a custom delivery date. Seal your letter until it arrives, or leave it readable while it waits. Once posted, a letter can no longer be edited.
MEET IMAGINATION WITH REALITY
When your letter arrives, read what your imagined future self had to say and capture a private reflection. Explore the space between intention and lived experience with curiosity rather than judgment.
KEEP EVERY LETTER TOGETHER
Easily find unfinished drafts, letters that are on the way, letters ready to read, and letters you’ve reflected on.
BUILD A WRITING PRACTICE
Optional reminders can help you return to the exercise on your own schedule. Delivery notifications let you know when a letter is ready.
YOUR WORDS, ACROSS YOUR IPADS
Letters, reflections, values, and goals synchronize through your private iCloud database.
Future Post is visualization. It is a quiet place to imagine who you want to become and, in time, turn that imagination into reality.
