Your kingdom has a chancellor! • The Royal Agenda: type or dictate a task in one line. The chancellor understands "Tomorrow at 9 call the garage", "Every Tuesday department meeting" or "2.11. Cousin's birthday" on his own. • A calendar by day, week, work week or month. Coloured dots show where things are heating up. • A task with a time reminds you once. Exclamation marks add urgency: ! important, !! reminds you even without a time, !!! keeps nagging until it's done. Plus #tags, repeats, subtasks and notes. • The Ruler's Day: a morning audience with events from your iPhone calendar and today's three decrees, an evening chronicle and a weekly summary. • The chancellor's favour grows with every task you complete. When the jester mocks your business trips or Christmas parties, the chancellor stands up for you. • New widgets: Royal Agenda and Jester's Calendar. • An Apple Watch app: add and tick off tasks right from your wrist. • Your tasks stay on your device and never affect the game or the leaderboards. • New building artwork and app icons.

Your kingdom comes to life! • A fresh look for your homeland: a painted landscape and buildings that change appearance as you upgrade them, from a humble settlement to a grand royal seat. • A lively Royal Court with new portraits and conversations. The jester comments on your rule, the messenger brings news, and the mage, seer and alchemist have advice to share. • Historical quips from the jester now come with explanations of real events. The seer has more words of wisdom — and a few laughs. • Reworked alchemy, new ingredients and a herbalist cottage with its own production. Experiments now consume the stocked ingredients you use. • Updated spell costs and effects. Alchemical Expedition helps replenish the ingredients you have the least of. • Improved guidance through your kingdom's development, handing the reins to you at level 20. • Clearer production information, a consistent resource bar and numerous interface and text improvements.

THE GAME NOW GUIDES YOU A new "What now?" band on the Castle always shows a single next thing worth doing — and takes you straight to it. It stays with you through the first three maps, so it also announces the alchemist and your first expedition. And your first relic finally explains what it is good for. THE COURT MAGE ARRIVES MUCH EARLIER He used to wait for map level 30 — now he joins your army at level 10 and learns his spells as you advance. TWO NEW WAYS TO CAST • Mirror of Fate — when a march fails, fate rolls once more • Double casting — from level 25 you can send two spells on a single expedition CHEAPER MAGIC Clairvoyance now costs 50 crystals instead of 100. The mage tower is cheaper and available far sooner — its first floor no longer asks for lead. THE HUB IS NOW THE CASTLE Production left the tab bar: tap the resource strip to open it, on the Castle or on the Map. Four tabs remain, so the icons could grow. New app icon, and spell reports you can actually read.
