Star Explorer: Night Sky Map
Stargazing AR & Star Finder
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
The Geminids peak Dec 13–14. Set a reminder, then point your iPhone at the sky to find the radiant. Free AR star finder, night sky map and red-light night mode.
Point your iPhone at the night sky and instantly see what you're looking at. Star Explorer names stars, planets, constellations and the Moon in AR, and tells you what's worth seeing tonight from where you are.
No sign-up needed to start. The star catalog, sky map and astronomy assistant work offline, so they keep working at dark-sky sites with no signal.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
· Without location access, the default observing site now follows your device's region (e.g. New York, London, Tokyo) instead of always Shanghai
· On iPhone Duo, half-folded, the sky map splits in two: the chart on one side, the object list and selected star on the other
· In AR, star names step off the fold while half-folded, with a tip to unfold for the full view
· Better right-to-left layout on foldable screens
· Stability and polish
