It exists solely to help spread God's Word and make Scripture freely accessible to everyone. READ THE KJV OFFLINE Read the complete 66-book King James Bible without an internet connection. Move quickly between books, chapters, and verses, and return automatically to your last reading position. Choose paragraph or verse-by-verse reading, change the font and text size, adjust line spacing and page margins, show or hide verse numbers, and use distraction-free reading. Light Mode uses white pages with black text. Dark Mode uses true-black pages with white text. HEAR THE BIBLE READ ALOUD Use an English system voice already installed on the device to hear a chapter or an entire book. Automatic mode prefers Daniel in English for the United Kingdom, then Tessa in English for South Africa, then Samantha in English for the United States when those voices are installed. Preview or choose an installed voice, adjust reading speed, pause and resume, move by verse, continue with the screen locked, and use supported Lock Screen and Control Center controls. The app remembers the last listening position and resumes from that place unless you explicitly start another passage. An optional sleep timer can stop after 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes, at the end of a chapter, or after a custom amount of time. The timer stays off unless you turn it on. SIRI AND SHORTCUTS Use Siri or Shortcuts to start a passage, continue reading, pause, resume, move to another verse, or stop narration. The device's built-in speech system reads the locally stored text. SEARCH AND SAVE • Search by keyword, multiple words, exact phrase, chapter, verse, or reference • Use common abbreviations such as Jn 3:16 • Bookmark verses and highlight with multiple colors • Add private notes and tags • Review reading history • Share verses as text or an image • Export and restore a private local backup READING PLANS AND DAILY VERSE Follow built-in reading plans or create a custom plan. View a Daily Verse, add the Daily Bible Verse widget, and optionally schedule a local reminder. Notifications are off by default and contain no advertising. KJV APOCRYPHA AND ANCIENT WRITINGS The app includes the KJV Apocrypha and selected public-domain ancient writings in separate, clearly labeled collections. They are not mixed into the 66-book KJV canon. Source, translation, publication, provenance, rights, and canonical-status information is provided. Current additional material includes the KJV Apocrypha and the R. H. Charles English translation of 1 Enoch. DESIGNED FOR EVERY SUPPORTED SCREEN The native layout adapts to iPhone, iPad, portrait, landscape, Split View, Stage Manager, and resizable Mac windows. Accessibility support includes Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, Voice Control, Reduce Motion, increased contrast, bold text, and keyboard navigation where supported.
