Navigator • The Path and Map tabs show their names and their content. • The map stays above the Slides, Path, Map, and Assets tabs, so those tabs stay clickable. Images • Right-click an image and choose Crop Image. • Corner and side handles crop the picture. Drag an edge or a corner to trim it. • Reset Crop puts the whole picture back. Objects • Shift-click to select more than one object. • Right-click a selected object and choose Group. • Ungroup releases every object that belongs to those groups.

Slides • New Slide asks how many blank slides to add (1–100). OK or Cancel. If slides already exist, choose above or below the clicked area. • New slides tile 3-across, then wrap (15 slides → 3 columns × 5 rows). • Command-D duplicates the clicked slide. • Slide names are the frame number. The navigator shows a thumbnail of each slide’s contents. • Click one thumbnail, then Shift-click another to select that range; Delete removes those slides. Copy and paste • Copy up to 30 selected images, text boxes, or shapes (Command-C) and paste them onto any slide (Command-V). They stay on the clipboard until you copy something else. Pictures • Right-click an image and choose Select Transparent Color. Click a color to make that connected region fully transparent. The pointer returns to the arrow. Use the command again for another enclosed pocket. Undo and Redo apply. The clicks are saved with the image; older .zpresent files still open. • Holes in a picture show the shape or text behind them. Shapes • Choose a shape from the toolbar or Insert → Shape to place it on the selected slide. Present • Escape leaves the show and returns you to the slide you were presenting. • While the color palette is open, the pointer is a crosshair so the eraser circle is not drawn on it. Help • Help lists the feature tips for the editor and the show.

Present with ink • Draw on the slide during the show with a pen that starts thin and red. • Open the color disc for eight colors. OK applies the ink; Cancel keeps the current color. • Step the trace size: Fine, Medium, Bold, Marker. • Erase ink with a 5, 10, or 20 px circle that follows the pointer. • Undo a trace with Command-Z and redo it with Command-R (up to 20). Escape stops the tools, then leaves the show on the slide you were presenting. Editor • Freehand is first in the Shape menu. Drag to trace a smooth contour. • New shapes, text, images, and pasted pictures are placed in front. Send to Back stays above the slide fill. • Command-C, Command-X, and Command-V copy, cut, and paste objects. After the clipboard changes, paste inserts a picture (GIF stays GIF). Files • A presentation is now one .zpresent file (not a folder). Open that file. • Decks saved on Mac open on Windows, and the other way around. • Older folder packages still open from File → Open Package Folder. • A blank window with no slides does not ask you to save.
