Your voicing, not the one from the list. Set string by string, with the notes included — and available wherever your chord appears. Transposed as well. Chordora displays your songs exactly as you need them to play: lyrics and chords in a clean layout, large enough to read, and without control bars to obstruct your view. Tablature is shown alongside every chord. PLAY INSTEAD OF NAVIGATING The stage view fills the screen. A button starts the auto-scroll; you can swipe yourself at any time, and the scroll continues from where you let go. A simple tap won’t stop it – that happens all too easily in the heat of the moment. You can adjust the font size and speed without leaving the view. TABLATURE FOR EVERY CHORD Type in the chord or select it by combining the root note, type and extensions. Chordora looks up the voicings in a well-organised collection, complete with fingering, and calculates even the rarer ones from the notes — including chords that aren’t listed anywhere. Within the song, a bar above the lyrics displays the tablature for the chords used: tapping plays the chord, holding selects a different voicing. Your choice is saved for the song. YOUR VOICING, NOT THE ONE FROM THE LIST Hardly any other app can do this: you set your own voicing, string by string, on a drawn fretboard. Each string sounds when tapped; swiping across them all plays the entire chord — you can hear straight away whether it sounds as intended. Chordora automatically recognises which chord this forms and then suggests it wherever it appears. Even transposed: your Cmaj7 is the same voicing as a Gmaj7, seven frets further along. ANY KEY, INSTANTLY Move up or down by semitones. The chords follow suit; your source text remains unchanged. If desired, the notation can be based on the circle of fifths for the target key, so that Eb appears where it belongs, rather than D#. If you write H instead of B, simply set the German notation. SETLISTS FOR GIGS Group songs into setlists, arrange them in the correct order with a single tap, and colour-code them. A song can appear in as many lists as you like without being duplicated. EVEN THAT NOTE FROM THE ATTIC Often, a song is based on nothing more than a handwritten sheet of paper. The built-in document scanner recognises the edges of the page, straightens them and boosts the contrast — multiple pages in a single pass. Photos are given equal prominence alongside the lyrics: a song may have both. IMPORTING FROM THE WEB Copied songs usually appear as a line of chords above the lyrics. When you enter them, Chordora recognises this and aligns each chord with the correct syllable. If one lands in the middle of a word, it snaps to the word boundary. LINKS TO THE SONG Spotify, YouTube, a tablature site — as many links as you like per song, each with its own name, to be opened directly from the stage view. PDF FOR THE BAND A song or an entire setlist as a PDF — with a cover page, track list and page numbers, including photos. For anyone who doesn’t have an iPhone to hand. SAVE AND TRANSFER All songs as a single ChordPro file, with title, artist and your links; individual songs too. An open text format that other programmes can read — and Chordora can import it again. AN EDITOR THAT THINKS FOR YOU Chords, directives and comments highlighted in colour. A toolbar for brackets, sections and comments, with photos, links, tablature and song details behind it. Below that, all the chords that already appear in the song — a tap places them at the cursor. Undo and Redo for every step. Changes are explicitly saved, not secretly in the background. EVERYTHING STAYS WITH YOU No account, no login, no server. Chordora collects nothing, sends nothing and requires no internet connection. Your songs are stored on your device. WHAT IT COSTS Chordora is free and can hold ten songs, including the three demo songs provided. If you need more, Chordora Unlimited lets you unlock as many as you like — a one-off payment, no subscription. Whatever you’ve already created will remain available and usable in any case.
