1.3.5 Oct 19
- Scoring is clearer: pick Birdie, Par, Bogey or Double in one tap, and a hole is never saved as par unless you choose it
- See your whole card in one tap with Map | Score | Card
- Each hole in the hole picker shows your score
- The leaderboard now shows how many holes each player has played
1.3.4 Oct 18
Follow the action live, and score it too.
LIVE COMMENTARY
Open any running competition and follow a live feed of updates from the course: birdies, key moments and photos, posted by commentators your club chooses.
PICKS (just for fun)
Predict who wins, how a player scores on a hole, or whether they finish over or under a score. Climb the picks table for bragging rights. Points only: there is no money, no prizes and nothing to buy.
SCORERS AND LIVE MATCHES
Clubs can nominate scorers to enter hole-by-hole scores so the leaderboard moves in real time. Match play fixtures now show a live status like "2 up thru 9", and the final result is announced in the live feed.
SAFER FOR EVERYONE
Every comment and post now has Report and Block. Club teams review reports, and you can see and undo anyone you've blocked in Profile.
ALSO
- Leaderboard pinch-zoom now resets with a double-tap or the Reset zoom button
- Match results notify everyone in the competition
- Clearer scoring wording on match play fixtures
- Smoother, easier-to-read screens in light and dark mode
1.3.3 Oct 17
Smarter Ask ScoreIQ
Ask "How can I improve my game?" and get an answer built from your last 10 rounds: where you lose shots, how you score on par 3s, 4s and 5s, your putting and penalties, and whether you're trending up or down. Ask "Show my recent rounds" for a quick history with differentials.
Follow friends live
Birdies, the turn and the finish now show up on your friends feed with live commentary. Get a halfway update when a friend or fellow competitor reaches the turn. You can switch it off under Profile → Halfway updates.
Rounds at a glance
Your rounds list now shows gross, points (or net) and your handicap differential for every round, with no need to open each card.
Cleaner scorecard
Bogeys and double bogeys use calm, classic square and double-square marks that are easy to read in sunlight and dark mode.
Notifications
Unread notifications now stand out, and you can mark them all as read in one tap.
Also in this update
- Invite playing partners by email
- Swipe from the edge to go back on iPhone
- The Ask ScoreIQ button can be dragged out of the way
- Past competitions no longer show as current in Events

New features
- Month in Review card — Play home now shows a recap card of last month's rounds (avg Stableford points, gross score, birdies, best round, most-played course) for anyone who played at least one round last month.
- "View calendar" — Dashboard → Upcoming section → new "View calendar" link next to "All events", showing every published competition and club programme item grouped by date.
- Active-round conflict handling — try starting a new round while already in one (both as the round's owner, and as someone who just joined someone else's four-ball). Should now prompt "Continue playing / Cancel that round" (owner) or "Continue playing / Leave that group" (non-owner) instead of a dead-end error.
- AI club suggestion — Hole Play screen suggests a club based on distance to pin (Gemini-backed).
- Pickleball on Apple Watch / Wear OS — pickleball now has full watch companion support alongside tennis/padel.
Bug fixes worth specifically re-testing
- Dark Mode leaderboard contrast — open a knockout competition's group standings (or a league table's podium rows) in Dark Mode; the qualifying/podium row numbers used to wash out almost invisibly, should be legible now.
- Round Overview defaults to you — open a finished/shared round's Scorecard or Stats tab as a non-host player; should default to your own stats, not whoever happened to be first in the group.
- Score entry no longer sticks on Putts — score a hole, tap Save & Next to advance to the next player; should land on Strokes entry, not wherever the previous player's screen was scrolled to.
- Ask ScoreIQ group lookup — ask the chat "who is leading [group name] group?" for a knockout competition group (not the competition itself); it used to misread the group name as a competition name and fail.
1.1.2 Sep 13
Changing App information to make is easier to find on App Store
1.1.1 Sep 11
- AI club suggestion for golf — tap "Suggest club" on the Hole Play screen and get a recommended club based on distance to the green, personalized to your own average distances once you've logged a few shots.
- Leaderboard exports now show Qualifying status — the green "top of group" highlight you see on screen now also appears in PDF and CSV leaderboard shares.
- Fixed a confusing course search message — searching for a course no longer shows a stale "no layout available" error next to an unrelated, downloadable result.
