Mac
Tap any element and read its DOM, styles, console output and network requests — right on your phone, with no Mac attached. No account, no analytics, nothing uploaded.
WebLens is a web browser with real developer tools built in, so you can inspect a site from your iPhone or iPad instead of going back to your desk.
Open any page, tap the element you are wondering about, and read its DOM, styles, console, network requests and stored data — on the device, with nothing to set up.
ELEMENTS
A DOM tree that loads lazily, so it stays fast on real pages. Search by tag, id, class, text or CSS selector. Tap "Select" and then tap the page: the element is highlighted in place with its margin, border, padding and content bands, and revealed in the tree.
STYLES
Matched rules in cascade order, inherited rules, grouped computed values and a box-model diagram. With Pro, change color, font-size, margin — anything — and watch the page update immediately. A toggle turns any edit off so you can see what the site itself specifies.
CONSOLE
Every console level, plus uncaught errors and unhandled promise rejections that never reach console.error. Filter by level or text; objects expand on demand. And a real REPL: type document.querySelectorAll("button").length and it runs in the page's own scope.
NETWORK
Method, URL, status, duration, headers and bodies for fetch and XMLHttpRequest. Filter by type or show only failures; JSON is pretty-printed. With Pro, copy any captured request as a cURL command.
STORAGE
Cookies read from the browser's own store — so the HttpOnly session cookies page scripts cannot see are visible here, with domain, path, expiry and flags. Plus localStorage, sessionStorage, and a listing of IndexedDB and Cache Storage. Pro edits and deletes any of it.
SOURCE
The page's live HTML, every script, stylesheet and image it loaded, and its inline blocks. Search inside a file; copy or share it with Pro.
BUILT FOR DEVELOPMENT SERVERS
Type localhost:3000 or 192.168.1.5:8080 and it loads over http without a scheme, so you can point it at what is running on your Mac.
BUILT FOR TOUCH
DevTools opens as a bottom sheet you can drag between four heights while the page stays scrollable behind it. On iPad it becomes a resizable split view.
HONEST ABOUT ITS LIMITS
iOS restricts what an app can observe inside a web view, and WebLens tells you where those limits are instead of showing you less than the truth:
• fetch, XMLHttpRequest and sendBeacon are captured in full, with headers and bodies.
• Images, stylesheets, scripts, fonts and media appear as timing-only rows — URL, duration, size, never headers or bodies. iOS loads them where an app cannot observe. They are labelled, not disguised.
• WebSocket connections are recorded, individual frames are not. Service Worker requests never appear.
• The DOM tree covers the main frame; a cross-origin iframe cannot be inspected.
• No JavaScript breakpoints — stepping needs the WebKit inspector protocol, which an app cannot reach for its own web view. For that you need a Mac.
The Network panel lists all of this, and explains why WebLens refuses the private-API workaround that seems to capture more.
INSPECTLAB PRO
Inspecting is free, permanently — every panel, the picker, the console and REPL, request headers, cookies and page source, with the latest 100 console messages, 50 requests and 2 tabs. Pro adds live CSS editing, storage editing, Copy as cURL, source export, and removes every limit.
US$2.99 per month or US$19.99 per year, both with a 1-week free trial, or US$39.99 once for a lifetime unlock. Prices elsewhere are set by the App Store and shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage them in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions.

PRIVACY
WebLens necessarily sees sensitive things: cookies, authorization headers, request bodies, page content. None of it goes anywhere — no account, no analytics, no crash reporting, no server. It stays on your device.
