Wharf is a file transfer app for people who ship to servers all day - a fast, native Mac app that gets out of the way.
Connect to anything:
SFTP, S3, FTP and FTPS, all in one place. Keys, passwords or two-factor codes. Servers tucked behind a bastion host connect just as easily as ones on the open internet. Save every site you use, organised into folders, and reconnect from the menu bar without opening the app.
Move files the way you already work:
Drag between the local and remote panes, or straight in from Finder. Queue up a whole folder and watch it go - with real speeds, real time remaining, and transfers that pick up where they left off when the WiFi drops instead of starting from nothing.
Tail a log without opening a terminal:
Right-click any remote file and follow it live in its own window. Filter to just the lines you care about. Keep three logs open across three servers while you work. When the file rotates, Wharf notices and keeps going.
Deploy once, then stop thinking about it:
Point Wharf at a local folder and a remote one and it tells you exactly what will change — what uploads, what downloads, what conflicts — before it touches anything. Approve it, and you're done. Or leave continuous sync running and every save you make locally is on the server seconds later. It stays out of your way until something genuinely needs a decision.
Know what happened:
Every connection, transfer and deletion is recorded. Filter by site, narrow to just the things that changed data, and export to CSV when someone asks what went to production and when. There's a full server log too, for the days a stubborn FTP host needs arguing with.

Real windows and tabs, real keyboard shortcuts, dark mode, Quick Look, and an editor handoff that uploads the moment you hit save. Universal binary, Apple silicon native.

Files start downloading as soon as they are found, rather than after the whole folder has been scanned.
Folder scans can be stopped part way; files already found continue to download.
Errors while scanning a folder are now reported instead of silently ignored.
