Play on TV • Send what you're watching to a Chromecast or a DLNA smart TV: tap the TV button in the player. AirPlay is in the same list. • It carries on from where you were, with subtitles, and your iPhone or iPad becomes the remote: pause, skip and scrub in the app, on the lock screen or in Control Center, and turn the TV up or down with the volume buttons. • Jellyfin and Plex titles play straight from your server. Downloads, files on your device and network-share titles stream from your device. • While you're connected, Play on any title sends it to the TV. A TV that doesn't show up can be added by its IP address. Trailers • Watch a film's or show's trailer from its page, right in the app. Search • Finds what you meant even when it's misspelled, run together or abbreviated: "intersteller", "darkknight" and "lotr" all work. The best match comes first. Jellyfin • Connect with just the server's address. Quick Connect starts straight away, and a password is optional for accounts that don't have one. • Works with Jellyfin 12 servers. Subtitles • Downloaded subtitles now appear and disappear exactly on cue. • Turning subtitles on picks a full subtitle track, not one that only covers signs and foreign-language lines.
